During the Delta episode, at the last meeting in Mossdeep Space Center, when Steven sends you to Sootopolis, he makes a comment about Shiny Pokemon. It might be necessary to have a shiny Beldum/Metang/Metagross in your party, possibly even the event one distributed at ORAS' launch, since he references "that white beauty" or something like that. He also states he fought Rayquaza a long time ago and was accompanied by a Trainer back then. He wonders what happened to that Trainer's black Charizard. Does anyone know who this refers to? Shiny Pokemon reference
- Thanks for your help, but the discussion page isn't necessarily a place to brag about achievements. If you are asking for assistance or think that something should be added or taken away, then post it on the Talk page. Otherwise, you are using server space for information that is better suited on the userspace, not the mainspace. Again, we appreciate every bit of your work on the page and the entire wiki. --C. Deoxys
I noticed it says Deoxys is Mythical in the article (" the player is challenged by the Mythical Deoxys."), but that isn't the case anymore. Partone (talk) 12:57, 26 February 2015 (UTC)
- We have no confirmation that Deoxys isn't Mythical anymore. glikglak 14:57, 26 February 2015 (UTC)
- According to Bulbapedia's definition of Mythical Pokémon, Deoxys is no longer Mythical. "Mythical Pokémon are a related group of Pokémon seen so rarely that some question their very existence. This category consists solely of event Pokémon; as such, no Mythical Pokémon is required to complete the Pokédex." C.Wallace (Talk|Contribs) 15:00, 26 February 2015 (UTC)
- That page is a mess. There's no precedent for a Mythical becoming a Legendary, or vice versa, so saying it happened because the Pokémon broke the pattern is an assumption. glikglak 18:02, 26 February 2015 (UTC)
- For now it may be a good idea to not include the words "Mythical" or "Legendary" in describing Deoxys though, just in this article, since it is debatable. In this case, Bulbapedia is the medium of definition for the word "Mythical", so either the definition has to change or Deoxys is now, technically speaking, a legendary Pokémon. Although it has not been officially announced that Deoxys has been made a "legendary" Pokémon, there is no mention of Deoxys as a mythical Pokémon on either the ORAS website or the Official Pokémon site. What do you think Glik? C.Wallace (Talk|Contribs) 21:27, 26 February 2015 (UTC)
