Ippei (Japanese: イッペイ Ippei) is a recurring character in the Pokémon anime who first appeared in person in XY098.
History
He was mentioned in A Rush of Ninja Wisdom!, albeit only in a fantasy. He is the older brother of Sanpei and Nihei and hails from Ninja Village. Ippei is the strongest of the village and endowed with a huge sense of justice, as well as an extremely skillful ninja..
He made his first physical appearance in XY098, Ippei first appears when Sanpei returns to his village accompanied by Ash and his friends. After he watching the Pokémon battle between Sanpei and Nihei, he made one analysis of the battle,commenting the mistakes that his younger brother took while. Later, Ippei and Nihei meet Sanpei, Ash and his friends in the temple to the village's heroes.
He explains to Ash about the legends of the Pokémon that protected the village from time to time, your main objective to train his Froakie was that he was the main hero of legend.
When the attack on village begins, He sends Sanpei to protect the village elder, Ippei and Nihei join forces and face the ninja army when they discover that Hanzou was captured.
