Gallade is Woodward's only known Pokémon, who helps him out with maintaining the plants under Woodward's care. Woodward used Gallade in a battle against Serena and her Braixen, but it got interrupted by Team Rocket. After Team Rocket had been blasted off, the battle was resumed, but after Gallade was hit by Braixen's newly learned Fire Blast, the battle was called off by Woodward.

Gallade's only known moves are Slash and Psycho Cut.
