Release information
This card was released as a Trainer card in the English Base Set, first originating from the Japanese Expansion Pack, with artwork by Keiji Kinebuchi. It was later reprinted with the same artwork in the English Base Set 2 expansion. During the XY Series, Maintenance was released as an Item card with new artwork by Toyste Beach in the English Furious Fists expansion, originating from the Japanese Rising Fist expansion. This print was later included in the English Generations expansion, originating from the Japanese BREAK Starter Pack. For the Expansion Pack 20th Anniversary during the Generation VI XY Era, it was reprinted as a retro card with the updated effect featuring the same artwork as the original print and an updated card template reminiscent of the Original Era layout.
