Power of Alchemy (Japanese: ) is an Ability introduced in Generation VII. It is the signature Ability of Alolan Grimer line and is exclusively obtained as a Hidden Ability.

Effect

In battle

When an allied Pokémon faints in battle, a Pokémon with Power of Alchemy as its Ability will gain the fainted Pokémon's Ability in place of its own. When this happens, the new Ability activates immediately, as if it had just entered the battle.

Outside of battle

It is unknown if Power of Alchemy has effect outside of battle.
