Basically yes. The game determines if the chain is broken or not once the patch is entered, THEN generates the pokemon. | |||
If the chain disappears from the radar's poketech app before the encounter, that means the chain is broken, period. Even if it's the same pokemon. | |||

Basically yes. The game determines if the chain is broken or not once the patch is entered, THEN generates the pokemon. If the chain disappears from the radar's poketech app before the encounter, that means the chain is broken, period. Even if it's the same pokemon.
