This card was included in the Forbidden Light expansion, first released in the Japanese Ultra Force subset. In Japan, two SM-P Promotional prints were available as part of the Shining Ultra Beast Campaign, which began on March 2, 2018. For every five booster packs purchased in one transaction at participating stores, customers would receive a special pack containing 1 of 6 possible cards. The print numbered 203/SM-P is Non Holofoil, while the print numbered 202/SM-P is Holofoil and features a Shiny version of Poipole. Both of these prints have the campaign logo in the bottom left corner of the artwork. The Forbidden Light print was reprinted in the Japanese GX Ultra Shiny subset.
