An Auto Deck Machine is a computer at Mason Laboratory that contains lists for certain card decks; if the player has each necessary card of a particular deck list, the machine can also build the corresponding deck. There are 9 Auto Deck Machines found at Mason Laboratory, only one of which is operational from the beginning of the game. The remaining 8 require the player to defeat Club Masters to obtain Master Medals that can be used to activate them. There is also a Legendary Auto Deck Machine found in the Hall of Honor at the Pokémon Dome.

The Deck Save Machine, a computer similar to an Auto Deck Machine, can be found at the southwest corner of the laboratory. Using this machine, players can save their own deck configurations by which the Deck Save Machine will reconstruct their deck to this setting at any later time.
