- Growing on Routes 114 and 121 when the player first arrives there
- Pretty Petal Flower Shop
- Gentleman in Lilycove City
- Pickup (FR/LG)
Generation IV
- Growing in Solaceon Town, Pastoria City, and Route 218 when the player first arrives there
- Pick a Peck of Colors Flower Shop
- Sometimes given from the Berry Master
- Rarely (5% chance) found on wild Girafarig or Kecleon
Growth and Harvest
Generation III
Persim Berries mature from planted seed to a full-grown, fruit-bearing tree in 12 hours, with 3 hours per stage. A Persim Tree will yield 2-3 Berries.
Generation IV
Persim Berries mature from planted seed to a full-grown, fruit-bearing tree in 16 hours, with 4 hours per stage. A Persim Tree will yield 2-5 Berries.
Uses
In-Battle
A Persim Berry, if held by a Pokémon, can cure it of confusion instantly, or can be used as an item to cure confusion at any time.
Berry Blending
Persim Berries have all flavors, so are useful when blending with Berries of a higher smoothness to lower the feel of a resulting Pokéblock.
Berry Crushing
At 100% performance, this Berry will contribute 30 units of powder.
Poffin Cooking
At 100% performance a Persim Berry will produce a level 10 Sweet Poffin when cooking alone.
Trivia
In Generation II, the Bitter Berry was the one that cured confusion. In Generation IV, this is the only flavor that the Persim Berry does not have.
