A Wishing Piece (Japanese: ねがいのかたまり Wishing Clump) is an item introduced in Generation VIII.
In the core series games
In Pokémon Sword and Shield, the Wishing Piece are said to have originated from Eternatus. It occasionally rains down in Galar.

A Wishing Piece can be thrown into an inactive Pokémon Den in the Wild Area in order to enable a Max Raid Battle at said Den.
