I don't think Pokémon sharing similar habitats (due to being based off similar animals) is worth noting, as it is very obvious that would be the case.--[[User:Force Fire|<span style="color:#EBC600">'''F'''</span><span style="color:#EBC600">orce</span>]][[User talk:Force Fire|<span style="color:#D8B600">'''F'''</span><span style="color:#D8B600">ire</span>]] 07:13, 9 August 2019 (UTC)

Welcome to Bulbapedia, Ralph Martin!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Portugese names

Please provide sources for any and all Brazilian Portugese names you add. glikglak 19:32, 4 October 2016 (UTC)

Just to reiterate this, please do not add or change any Portuguese names unless you can provide a source. --SnorlaxMonster 11:39, 12 March 2019 (UTC)
And if you do have a source, you MUST at least mention what it is in your edit summary. Otherwise it will be assumed that you are adding an original translation, and your edit will be reverted. --SnorlaxMonster 11:40, 12 March 2019 (UTC)

Your edits

In regards to your latest series of edits, there are a couple of things for you to learn:

  1. The plural form for any Pokémon species is the same as its singular form. For example, "Spearow" is both singular and plural.
  2. Never use the {{p}} template for a non-Pokémon article like evolutionary stone.

Thank you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 03:38, 3 August 2019 (UTC)

Also, you need to use the {{p}} template when linking Pokémon articles. For example: {{p|Aipom}}. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 19:57, 9 August 2019 (UTC)

Pokemon sharing habitats

I don't think Pokémon sharing similar habitats (due to being based off similar animals) is worth noting, as it is very obvious that would be the case.--ForceFire 07:13, 9 August 2019 (UTC)

I'm basing a lot more on game locations (the core series) and regional pokedex than real animals. What happens is that coincidences occur. The only climate criterion I'm using is the regions in which Pokémon are found. For example: Sinnoh is located on the northern boundaries of the world where the temperature is cooler and Hoenn have a warmer climate than other regions, similar to an equatorial climate.- unsigned comment from Ralph Martin (talkcontribs)
I'm talking about your "Taillow is found in areas similar to Pidgey" additions, those ones aren't notable as it is obvious that Pokémon that follow a certain theme (in this case, regional birds) would share similar locations. On a different note, please sign your comments with four tildes (~), not sure what you did with your signature, but it had the wrong time (The time should follow UTC not whatever time it is for you), so you most likely just typed out your signature.--ForceFire 05:14, 10 August 2019 (UTC)

Pokédex appearances

There's absolutely no need to describe which national Pokédexes a certain Pokémon species appears in. Not only does it have nothing to do with the "Biology" section, it's totally not notable. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 01:45, 13 December 2019 (UTC)
