In Japan, it was available as part of a Meiji Chocolate campaign in March 2008. An English promotional print was one of the 24 cards released in the {{TCGMerch|Diamond & Pearl|Series|Pokémon Countdown Calendar}} in October 2008, which features a gold foil snowflake stamp in the bottom right corner of the artwork. The Japanese print was later reprinted in the Japanese {{TCG|Collection Packs|Shaymin LV.X Collection Pack}} in April 2009.

This card was included in the Majestic Dawn expansion with artwork by Midori Harada, first released as one of the Japanese DP-P Promotional cards.
