Move Tutors

I'm not sure how to add this information to the page, but in the Pokemon Center here there are two people who offer to teach moves to my Pokemon. An old man offers Dragon Ascent, and a female Ace Trainer offers Draco Meteor.

First NPC Shiny Pokémon?

To my knowledge, the battle with Sightseer Marcus is the first (guaranteed) Shiny Pokémon used by an NPC in the games. Should this be mentioned in the trivia section of the page? ShermTank7272 (talk) 21:43, 31 December 2016 (UTC)

As I recall, there's a shiny Gible that's in one of the Gen IV Battle Frontier pools. glik^glak 22:06, 31 December 2016 (UTC)

There's also a Trainer in the Battle Tower in FireRed/LeafGreen that is guaranteed to have a shiny Espeon. slimey01 00:04, 1 January 2017 (UTC)

Alolan Exeggcute?

Exeggcute doesn't have an Alolan form. Should the trivia say instead that he is the only Sightseer to use a Pokémon that doesn't have an Alolan form? A second line could be added saying "However, Exeggcute's evolved form does have an Alolan form". Scribbl 11:55, 15 March 2017 (UTC)

But your change says Exeggcute has an Alolan form and he doesn't use the non-Alolan form. Shouldn't it say he's the only one to use a Pokemon that doesn't have an Alolan form? Scribbl 21:42, 15 March 2017 (UTC)

I won't argue with Celadonkey's revision, but I think you were misreading the text I wrote. Since Exeggcute doesn't have any forms, it's true that it isn't "the normal form of a Pokémon that also has an Alola Form," which makes mine a bit more precise than Celadonkey's. Now that you point out the potential confusion, I can see how it could be misinterpreted, so Celadonkey's is better because it's a bit clearer, even if it's slightly less specific. I'm going to try to mull over whether there's a way to get the specificity without losing clarity, though. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 00:08, 16 March 2017 (UTC)

Mina's trial

Following on from the set of trailers that showcased that Mina has a trial, in which they showed her in her house announcing the start of her trial in the English trailer and doing the Fairty-type Z-Move pose in the Japanese one, the trailer set released last night shows a Ribombee in her house accosting the player, and judging from the fact that it is much larger than what a member of its species should be it appears to be a Totem Pokémon. NPC unable to recognize Totem Salazzle

I brought Totem Salazzle to " the woman near the Huntail ship in the southwest" but she can't recognize it as Salazzle - she keeps repeating the same description of it again and again. Idk if that should be mentioned or whatever. Itan (talk) 20:08, 21 May 2020 (UTC)
