Errors
- On page 21, question 3 erroneously states that since Smoochum is an Ice-type Pokémon, it has an advantage over Azumarill, a Water-type type, despite neither type being super-effective against the other. Question 6 on the next page also erroneously states that Hoothoot, a Flying-type, can defeat Phanpy, a Ground-type, despite neither being super-effective against the other.
- On pages 38-39 and 71, while Ash was correct in stating that Igglybuff is not a Fire-type, it can learn several Fire-type moves (meaning Team Rocket may have been telling the truth in saying that Igglybuff used Flamethrower against them).
- On page 41, it is erroneously stated that Onix, a Rock-type can beat Grimer, a Poison-type with Rock-type moves. This should state that Onix can use Ground-type moves to beat Grimer.
