:Btw "ran", which is suggested to mean "spawn" should be "egg" (Japanese kanji are often listed as having many various meanings; however, when the character is on it's own, it usually only means one or two of these. 卵 is supposedly "spawn", but that meaning is only obtained in combinations with other kanji. we've already got that it's based on a cell/growing human, but no one has connected that to it's name. I believe it's name Daburan (containing "double") is referencing either mitosis (less likely) or Daburan being a zygote (very likely), backed up by Yuniran containing "uni".
