Time trial events (Japanese: タイムアタックイベント Time Attack Event) are a type of limited-time events in Pokémon Masters EX. These challenge players to complete battles in a short amount of time; players are ranked and awarded points according to how long they take to win a battle, and they earn Event Rewards by reaching point milestones.
Players are granted three attempts per day in this event; however, any unused attempts are rolled over to subsequent days. The attempts are shared between all of the battles in the event.
Along with the main time trial battles, a practice match is available for players to play as many times as they want, with the battle being the same as the Very Hard difficulty for the main event. The practice match does not consume attempts or stamina, and while it does not award any points, medals can be earned the same as in the Very Hard main time trial battle.
The events may focus on a specific type, with bonuses being granted to both the stats of qualifying sync pairs and the points awarded.
Race to Victory
This event ran from November 12 to 30, 2020. Players could include the following sync pairs to obtain bonuses to stats and earned points:
- Nate and Braviary: Stats ×2.0; Points +100%
- Rosa (Holiday 2019) and Delibird: Stats ×1.3; Points +70%
- Blue and Pidgeot: Stats ×1.2; Points +50%
- Kahili and Toucannon: Stats ×1.1; Points +20%
- Skyla and Swanna: Stats ×1.1; Points +20%
- Winona and Pelipper: Stats ×1.1; Points +20%
