== Trivia thing AGAIN? ==
Now I don't know why you keep adding Trivia to the pages when you've been told to slow down but for now I see simply wrong statements being added. Wicked Blow and Surging Strikes are not the only 100%-crit moves. Ice/Fire/Electric punches ARE special in generation 1&2 for Stadium games. That's only what I found now and I'm reverting it. If anyone finds  any Trivia I missed, please check it and revert if needed.
For the owner of the page - check your Trivia before adding it.  Go on Discord, there is a great community that can help you with that. IMHO, there's more harm you can do to articles if you don't even know about physical/special split. [[User:Itan|Itan]] ([[User talk:Itan|talk]]) 11:54, 3 December 2020 (UTC)

Welcome to Bulbapedia, Eternium-Z!

Thank you for joining our community! By creating an account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. This is a brief introduction to Bulbapedia's rules and resources to help you get started:

  • All users are expected to follow the code of conduct and to be kind to one another.
  • If you have a question, check out our FAQ; the manual of style provides detailed editing guidance, and the wikicode page provides details about how to use wikicode.
    • You can always ask for help by contacting a staff member.
  • Please preview your edits before saving them; this helps you double-check your changes and reduces the need for repeated minor edits.
  • Use talk pages to discuss changes and resolve editing disputes.
  • Creating a userpage is allowed after you've added to the encyclopedia; for more details, see the userspace policy.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~) so people know who is commenting. This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links and information, check out the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. Thanks! --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 19:58, 31 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Large-scale edits and Carbink/Diancie

Hey, for edits that are going on a large number of pages need to be approved before being added. In this case, the word "Extrateresstrial" (spelled wrongly too) is not needed as Pokémon are fictional creatures. It's redundant. Ability-related information/trivia should only be added to Ability pages and not on Pokémon species pages. Lastly, Carbink and Diancie are NOT counterparts. You've been reverted twice, do not add them back as it falls under edit-warring. Thanks. — RuiXiang95

Edits

Hello, most of your edits have either been unnecessary or already added elsewhere. Thus they have all been reverted. If you have a problem, go to the talk page of an article or the talk page of the user that reverted you. DO NOT continuously re-add what was removed. It falls under edit warring and is a blockable offense. Carbink and Diancie are not counterparts in the same way Minun and Plusle are. The "smallest rock type" trivia is already in the biology section of those Pokemon. Thank you.--ForceFire 10:13, 1 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Do not move info from biology sections to trivia like on Dwebble. Trivia is a place for things that have no other place.
"Counterparts" are not just any similar Pokemon. Counterparts are usually in (or originated in) different versions. There's also no point to pointing out that Carbink and Diancie aren't evolutionarily related, that's obvious from the intro/evolution sections.
Lastly, do not keep re-adding things that are removed. Doing so is edit warring and can result in a block. If you have a disagreement with someone about an edit, discuss it with them instead of just continuing to add it back. At the moment, you've been on quite a spree in general, and you've specifically been re-adding several things, especially on Diancie's page. If you continue such behavior, you will receive a block. Tiddlywinks (talk) 14:35, 1 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Block

As you have continued to add removed information back into those articles, rather than wait for a response (no matter how long that'll take, I was afk for a moment), you have been blocked for edit warring. I went with a one week block as you have repeatedly done this throughout the past few days and only just recently started using the talk page to settle things. We do not want the lowest/highest/heaviest/lightest information duplicated, mentioning it once (whether in the biology or trivia section) is enough. No need to say it twice (or more) in the same article. As for Carbink/Diancie, they aren't counterparts no matter how fans see it. Fan opinions does not make something a fact.--ForceFire 14:43, 1 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Link templates

Allow me to redirect you to the site's list of link templates, because your edits leave a lot to be desired when it comes to linking articles. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 15:11, 1 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Again, please use the proper link templates when linking certain pages. Pokemon must use {{p|this template}} and moves must use {{m|this one}}. Ataro (talk) 20:42, 8 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
As Ataro said, when linking a Pokemon, use a template, like {{p|Pidgey}}. Likewise, when you link a move, use {{m}}, like {{m|Gust}}
Currently you haven't responded to anything on your talk page, so I'm going to ask you to acknowledge this message. If you make further edits that fail to follow this request without having answered here, you will receive a block to make you pay attention to your talk page. Tiddlywinks (talk) 00:35, 10 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
You're still not using the link templates correctly, from what I observed. Please go through the list again, and read it more thoroughly this time. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 08:55, 11 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
I know, I know, I've read this thing multiple times, I'm sorry. I'm doing my best.Eternium-Z (talk) 08:59, 11 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
Not that hard to read... GrammarFreak01 (talk) 05:36, 13 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
You're still not using the link templates correctly! Please don't edit until you're sure you've read the list thoroughly. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 07:13, 15 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
Ugh, seems like I annoy you too much with the link templates. I'm sorry.Eternium-Z (talk) 13:29, 16 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Use talk pages

If you disagree with an edit, use the talk pages to discuss the dispute. Do not continually re-add the information. If you continue to re-add removed information without discussion, then you will be blocked again.--ForceFire 08:17, 9 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Counterparts

On Bulbapedia, "counterparts" are how Pokemon that are in different versions are described. Please do not call Pokemon counterparts just for random similarities.

(Please note that I've left another comment above as well.) Tiddlywinks (talk) 00:35, 10 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Trivia

A good majority of your trivia are simply not notable, either being faaaaaaar too specific or falling under not unique=not notable/too small of a group. And you keep re-adding the lightest Pokemon line even though it's already mentioned in the biology section. Please cease making these unnecessary additions to the trivia sections. I've also noted that almost every single one of your contributions have only been adding trivia. While adding trivia is fine, if they're notable, but do not solely focus on just the trivia sections. There are other things on the wiki that you can contribute to that is not the trivia section. Also, please preview your edits, failing to do so may see you be placed in the force preview usergroup. Thank you.--ForceFire 16:30, 16 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Alright, I will try.Eternium-Z (talk) 16:35, 16 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
Again, stop adding unnotable trivia. Your recent additions are either way too specific or already mentioned elsewhere. And stop just re-adding the trivia once it gets removed, it falls under edit warring. If you have a problem with something, go to the talk page. DO NOT just re-add the trivia. Failure to adhere to this warning may see you getting a block.--ForceFire 16:53, 16 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
Also worth noting that due to similar actions, I was forbidden from editing trivia for about a year. So I insist you listen. Don't make the same mistakes I did. ¿¡Unowninator?! (talk) 16:59, 16 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
Alright, Alright.Eternium-Z (talk) 17:07, 16 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

(resetting indent)Again, you are editing the trivia section way too much and adding unnotable trivia. Just because you made some non trivia edits doesn't mean it's okay for you to make a bunch of not notable trivia edits, that's not how it works. If you continue to simply focus on adding trivia, an unnotable ones at that, you will be blocked.--ForceFire 16:30, 19 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

"If you were looking for"

"If you were looking for" at the top of a page like this is only meant to be used when two pages have the same name (and generally a disambiguating parenthetical). This text even has a template, which is easy to see if you look at pages where it occurs: {{samename}}. Do not use it on something like Gengar when Gengar is not even an alternative for "Shadow Pokemon" (and obviously not the same name).

Tiddlywinks (talk) 14:24, 19 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Uh, you do realize that "Shadow Pokémon" is Gengar's category name, right?Eternium-Z (talk) 14:29, 19 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
"Uh", and how do people arrive at Gengar's page when they somehow expected to be on a page for Shadow Pokemon? "If you were looking for..." means, gosh, however did I end up here, I was expecting to be somewhere else; not just, oh, there's something on this page that's sorta like another page, that's confusing! (It is not.) Tiddlywinks (talk) 22:41, 19 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Consecutive edits

Please try to cut down on the strings of consecutive edits on single pages. They can easily clog up the edit history. Thank you. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 14:57, 19 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Items

You shouldn't add items like mega stones to type pages. These items do not react with the type they just happen to be related to Pokemon of that type.--Rocket Grunt 22:06, 19 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Repeated edits

You added this "form" to Solgaleo before and it was removed before. Without explicitly looking for other examples, I believe you've pretty well done this before. ...Please don't.

If an edit you made previously was undone, it's really best if you ask about it. You can always check the edit history (using the "history" tab at the top of the page) to see who removed your edit and often why. (It's also better than people having to post on your talk page to get your attention every time you add something back just because you didn't even look.) In the case of Solgaleo, there's really no two ways about it, it's not a form, and if you had checked the edit history you would hopefully not have redone your edit. Please take better care in the future.

Tiddlywinks (talk) 04:02, 20 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

I've noticed that, after adding evo stones like Leaf Stone (and some other items) to type pages a short while ago which were subsequently removed, you re-added them to pages in the past few hours. This is exactly what I told you not to do. And doing it on so many pages evidences a special disregard for others' input.
Last warning for this. Do this again and you will receive a block. Use a talk page if you don't agree with such removals. Tiddlywinks (talk) 15:11, 20 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Assumptions

Do not edit something you don't know. You removed the comma in Pikachu, Ph. D even though that contradicts the games. You named Marshadow's Smash attack as Dynamic Punch even though there's no reason for it to be that. Do not assume.

I'm going to add: use the preview button. In that edit to Marshadow, if you were using the preview button, you would very easily have seen your mistake with the template. In a similar vein, if you slow down and use the preview button a bit, you can avoid making several edits in a row and just do them all together instead. (Refer to the first section of this page.)

(And while I'm on tangents: please remember templates. Ones like Pokemon and moves are super basic. Though that latter one touches on your preview problem as well...)

Tiddlywinks (talk) 04:02, 20 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Okay.Eternium-Z (talk) 12:29, 20 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Types and items

Please stop adding items that are only related to the type because of a specific Pokémon, it does not mean they affect all Pokemon of that type (not all Fire type evolve with a Fire Stone or not all Electric type benefit from Pikanium Z). Please take all your messages on your talk page seriously, as I doubt you are, as all of your responses to your talk page messages have been very unconvincing and you continue to make edits that get you in trouble. Thank you.--ForceFire 13:49, 20 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Second block

As you have repeatedly ignored your talk page messages about adding unnotable trivia, completely refuse to use the talk page to settle disputes, and appear to be editing just the trivia section, you have been blocked again. Please take your talk page messages seriously, as your simple responses are not convincing enough. If you have a problem with an edit, take it to the talk page, do not continuously re-add the information as it falls under edit warring.

And pay attention to edit summaries, because someone had already told you why your Moltres trivia was not notable. Your Meltan/Melmetal trivia is not notable because the category trivia is only notable for Pokemon that are not related by evolution. It is expected that Pokemon of the same evolution line share the same category (it's only noted if they share it with a different Pokemon).

If you return from your block only to continue making the same edits, continue to only focus on the trivia section, continue to not use the talk page, and continue to not take your messages seriously with unconvincing responses, you will receive a longer block. Thank you.--ForceFire 09:53, 22 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Trivia section

You have very clearly not read you talk page nor have taken them to heart, as you have continued to add unnotable and/or highly specific trivia. Please cease editing the trivia section. There are plenty of other things you can edit that is not the trivia section. You also attempted to make a page for the movie Zarude. Please don't. We do not make pages for movie characters until after the movie airs. Thank you.--ForceFire 12:53, 29 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
