:The interpunct was apparently removed, which implies the opposite; saying her family name is Shirudomiria and her given name is Tate. In this case, shouldn't we probably be using Tate when referring to her, at least until an offical English release is announced? This would probably imply a move too, since Bulbapedia sticks to western order with names. - <span style="color:#336799">Chosen</span> (<span style="color:#000">Talk</span>) 16:32, 10 January 2021 (UTC)

::The volume spelled her name without the interpunct. Assuming the Japanese name is already written in Eastern naming order, that would make "Tate" her family name with Shirudomiria being the given name. Following Western conventions, that would mean the name of the article is already in the correct order. That being said, it's better to just wait for the full English name to move the article. --<font color="#2B547E">超龍</font><small>「Chao」</small> 01:48, 11 January 2021 (UTC)

Name order

Given the information from https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Shirudomiria_Tate#Names and the fact that her name in Japanese has an interpunct (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_punctuation#Interpunct), which implies foreignness, shouldn't her name be written as Tate Shirudomiria, in the same order as in Japanese, like in the case of Platinum Berlitz? --Fortranm (talk) 02:51, 2 January 2020 (UTC)

The interpunct was apparently removed, which implies the opposite; saying her family name is Shirudomiria and her given name is Tate. In this case, shouldn't we probably be using Tate when referring to her, at least until an offical English release is announced? This would probably imply a move too, since Bulbapedia sticks to western order with names. - Chosen (Talk) 16:32, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
The volume spelled her name without the interpunct. Assuming the Japanese name is already written in Eastern naming order, that would make "Tate" her family name with Shirudomiria being the given name. Following Western conventions, that would mean the name of the article is already in the correct order. That being said, it's better to just wait for the full English name to move the article. --超龍Chao 01:48, 11 January 2021 (UTC)
