The ex Special Set (Japanese: exスペシャルセット) is a exclusive Pokémon Trading Card Game product released on May 19, 2023 in Japan and on June 2, 2023 in Taiwan & Hong Kong. A Korean version was also announced.
Information
The ex Special Set will be the first in the Special Set product line to be released during the Scarlet & Violet Era and the fourth since its inception. Each set will be packaged with four Snow Hazard booster packs, four Clay Burst booster packs, and a 3-card Promo Card Pack not available in any other products. Each Promo Card Pack will include one of three possible evolutionary families: Toedscool (×2) and Toedscruel ex (×1); Pawmi (×1), Pawmo (×1), and Pawmot ex (×1); or Greavard (×2) and Houndstone ex (×1). The available Pokémon ex are new cards, while their prerequisites are Mirror Holofoil reprints from the Violet ex expansion. All cards also have their own collection symbol and collection number.
