Release information
This card was released as a promotional card. In Japan, it came with the February 1997 issue of CoroCoro Comic, released in January 1997. It was later released again as a special card at the JR Stamp Rally. The English version of the card was released through Pokémon card leagues in June 2002.
Trivia
- A misprint was made on the English version of this card. Its Psyshock attack was printed as saying "Confused" where it should say "Paralyzed".
- This card is commonly known as Lily Pad Mew, referring to its illustration.
Origin
Psyshock's Japanese name is that of Confusion, a move in the Pokémon games. Mew cannot learn this move.
