Southern Island (Japanese: 南の孤島 Solitary Southern Island) is a Friend Area in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team and a rescue team camp in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX in the Southern Isles area. In Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team, it has a capacity of 2 Pokémon. The eon duo are the only Pokémon that reside here.
It can be purchased from the Wigglytuff Club for 9,500 Poké after defeating Rayquaza. Upon buying it and getting HM Surf from Solar Cave, the player gains access to the Northern Range dungeon.
