This card was available as a regular-sized and a Jumbo-sized XY Black Star Promo in the Mega Diancie-EX Premium Collection released exclusively at Target stores starting January 5, 2015, with availability elsewhere starting February 4, 2015. In Japan, it was released as one of the XY-P Promotional cards and was available in the M Diancie-EX Special Pack, released on November 21, 2014.
