Release information
This card was included as a Regular card, a Full Art ultra rare, and a special illustration rare in the Paldea Evolved expansion, first released in the Japanese Clay Burst expansion. The Regular and Full Art prints feature artwork by Sanosuke Sakuma, while the special illustration rare print features artwork by kirisAki. In Japan, the Regular print of this card was reprinted in the Ruler of the Black Flame Deck Build Box, in both Terastal Starter Sets, the Venusaur & Charizard & Blastoise Special Deck Set ex, and in both Starter Deck & Build Sets. The Regular print was also reprinted in the special Paldean Fates expansion alongside a special illustration rare print featuring new artwork by hanabushi—both of these prints originated from the Japanese Shiny Treasure ex subset.
A Reverse Holofoil version of the Regular print was used as a promotional card for the 2024 Championship Series Regionals. This print features the "Pokémon Trading Card Game Championships: Regional" logo in the bottom right corner of the card artwork. A version of the card with a "Staff" stamp was also handed out to event staff. A new Full Art print of the card with artwork by yuu was included as a SVP Black Star Promo in the Iono Premium Tournament Collection, together with three copies of the Regular print from Paldea Evolved with an exclusive Iono Zone logo stamp. In Japan, the Regular print was reprinted again with the Pokémon Card Gym logo, as one of seven SV-P Promotional cards available in Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack 6, which was distributed at Pokémon Card Gym venues able to do so from April 26, 2024.[1]

Iono is the Gym Leader of the Levincia Gym in Paldea. The Levincia Gym's battle court is featured in the Regular print's illustration.
