The Ring Target (Japanese: ねらいのまと Aim Target) is a type of held item introduced in Generation V. It removes the holder's type immunities to moves.
In the core series games

Effect
The holder loses its type immunities to moves. It does not affect other type-based immunities, such as Grass-type Pokémon being immune to powder and spore moves, but does make Ground-type Pokémon vulnerable to Thunder Wave.
