*Although Fascinate is referred to as Tempt on the promotional release of this card, it is still considered a reprint. The attacks have the exact same effect, and the Japanese versions of the cards referred to both attacks by the same name. The reason for the differing names on the English versions is unknown.
*The ''Nintendo Power'' insert erroneously states that Dark Persian is a Basic Pokémon.
*A number of the English Wizards promotional print of this card was printed without HP.  Most of these error cards were destroyed, but some of them saw release.
*The Japanese Unnumbered Promotional print features the {{TCG|Rocket Gang}} symbol, indicating that it is a promotional addition to the expansion.

Trivia

  • The Nintendo Power insert erroneously states that Dark Persian is a Basic Pokémon.
  • The Japanese Unnumbered Promotional print features the Rocket Gang symbol, indicating that it is a promotional addition to the expansion.

Origin

Fascinate and Tempt's Japanese names are that of Captivate, a move later introduced in the Generation IV Pokémon games that Persian can learn.
