Reina (Japanese: レイナ Reina) is a recurring character in Pokémon Origins and a volunteer at the Lavender Volunteer Pokémon House.
History
Reina first appeared in File 2: Cubone, where she met Red at Mr. Fuji's Pokémon House. She explained to Red who Mr. Fuji is and what the Pokémon House is for. She also told him about an orphaned Cubone whose mother was killed by Team Rocket. After finding out that Mr. Fuji was being held captive in the Pokémon Tower, she tried to think of a way to rescue him. When the townspeople stated that they are too scared of Team Rocket, as well as the ghosts living inside the tower, to rescue Mr. Fuji, she berated them for being too cowardly.
Later, she heard Cubone going crazy inside its playpen and went over to check it. However, once she unlocked the door, Cubone escaped and ran off into the Pokémon Tower. She followed Cubone and helped keep it calm when it confronted Team Rocket. After Team Rocket was defeated, she saw Red off alongside the other townspeople.
In File 4: Charizard, she worriedly informed Mr. Fuji that Red had gone to face Mewtwo inside Cerulean Cave. When Mr. Fuji said that Red might not be able to win, she became fearful for her friend.

This Cubone is a Pokémon that was orphaned after Team Rocket killed its mother. Since then, it had become distant towards all humans except for Mr. Fuji. During the battle against Team Rocket at Pokémon Tower, Cubone ran off and found the angry spirit of its mother. Cubone embraced its mother one last time, which allowed her to calm down enough and pass on to the afterlife. Afterward, it helped Red battle against Team Rocket and saw him off when he left to continue his journey.
Cubone's only known move is Bonemerang.
In the games
Reina appears in the Generation I and Generation II games and their remakes as a nameless NPC in Mr. Fuji's house. She is apparently Mr. Fuji's granddaughter.
