The special begins with a recap of the previous special's events. After using his Capture Styler on the Pichu, Ben is successfully able to befriend it. Ben walks up to Pichu to let it know that he is not not an enemy, and that not all people are enemies. Pichu uses its electricity to play its Ukulele for Ben. Ben goes to another part of the island with his Pichu, and speaks to Booker. Booker tells Ben about how the Pokémon Pinchers have been capturing all of the Pokémon on Dolce Island. As he is telling him, a scene is shown where Pichu looks from behind the bush, and sees a couple of Pokémon Pinchers trying to capture a Combusken who is very agitated.

Ben gets in his boat, and heads towards Renbow Island to go after the Pokémon Pinchers. Ben and Pichu head towards a cave on the island, as they see a Pokémon Pincher from behind a bush, but are spotted by her. Pichu uses Thunderbolt to hit the Pokémon Pincher, as Ben and Pichu run inside of the Rasp Cavern. Ben and Pichu notice that two Pokémon Pinchers are trying to steal a part of a monument with a Guardian Symbol on it, as after the timer reads zero there a mini explosion on the monument. The Pokémon Pinchers spot Ben and Pichu spying on them.

Ben finds out that because the Cranidos is agitated, it will be tougher to befriend it.An agitated Cranidos attacks them, as Pichu tries to hit it with a Thunderbolt. Cranidos dodges and uses Zen Headbutt, while Pichu dodges. Pichu lands a hit with Thunderbolt, but Cranidos lands a hit on Pichu, sending it into the wall. After Pichu hits the wall, it realizes that the impact broke the Ukulele. The Pokémon Pinchers are able to escape with the stone monument, leaving Ben and Pichu to deal with the agitated Cranidos.

Ben uses his Capture Styler, and is eventually able to befriend the Cranidos. Outside of the cave, the Pokémon Pincher that Pichu attacked wakes up, as Red Eyes and the other Pokémon Pincher have just exited the cave. The Pokémon Pinchers head to their next destination with their Z. Z. Fliers, as Ben and Pichu see them leave after exiting the cave. As the Pokémon Pinchers are leaving, dark black clouds appear in the sky. A

** They're also the only episodes whose English version does not air on television; instead airing on [[Pokémon.com|the official Pokémon website]] and the Nintendo Channel.

=== Errors ===
=== Dub edits ===
* In the dub, the special was aired as one longer episode instead of in two parts.
