The Purple Kecleon (Japanese: 紫ケクレオン Purple Kakureon) is a non-shiny alternatley colored species of Kecleon.

Spin-off series
A Purple Kecleon makes an appearance in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Team Go-Getters Out of the Gate!. This Kecleon was one of the two Kecleon Brothers whom ran a shop for other Pokémon. After happily greeting Team Go-Getters, the two informed the trio that their entire stock had been cleaned out. Just before the trio left, they were informed that the customers that had taken their entire stock were another trio by the name of Team Meanies.
This same Purple Kecleon was seen again with the same role in the animated adaptation of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness. Here, he again sold items of a trio of Pokémon protagonist.
In the games
Spin-off games
A Purple Kecleon appears in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team as well as its remake. In this game, the Purple Kecleon is the younger brother of a normal Kecleon. He is the younger of the two and runs a shop called Kecleon Wares, where he sells TMs, Wonder Orbs, and Keys.
Trivia
- In the anime, Kecleon is first depicted as having tan-colored outlines cover its body. In all other appearances of Purple Kecleon, these outlines would become lime-green.
- In the English dub of The Kecleon Caper, Meowth refers to the Purple Kecleon as being the color red.
