Glacidea did not appear in Diamond and Pearl, but its equivalent is the Flower Paradise, as Shaymin is there in the games and there are plenty of flowers, just like Glacidea. In Platinum Glacidea itself does not appear, but the Glacidea Flower is given to the player by a lady in Floaroma Town. Any Shaymin can transform from this flower, but the player can only obtain it if they have the Movie 11 event Shaymin in their party.

Trivia
* Gracidea did not appear in Diamond, but the Flower Paradise can be considered its counterpart, as it is covered in flowers and Shaymin can be found there. However, the Gracidea flower itself is not found there; instead, it is found in Floaroma Town.

Trivia
Names
*Glacidea's name comes from the fact that it is next to a glacier. This was the same glacier that, in the movie, began moving and almost destroyed a nearby town because of Zero's actions in the Reverse World.

Gracidea was featured in Giratina and the Sky Warrior. It is located at the base of a glacier. Shaymin was in a rush to get there in time for "flower bearing," a ritual where many Shaymin gather, transform into Sky Forme, and fly away to start a new Gracidea garden in a faraway place. The place was threatened with destruction when Zero's actions in the Reverse World caused the glacier to start moving. A Regigigas, who inhabited a temple in the mountains near the garden, awoke just in time to help stop the impending disaster.
