Pokémon world locations |
The Jungle Relic (Japanese: ジャングルのいせき Jungle Ruins) is an ancient temple in Fiore featured in the Pokémon Ranger video game. It is located within the Olive Jungle to the north of Summerland. A statue of Entei is found in the relic with unlit flames leading up to it.
The Jungle Relic is famous for its four challenges, each of which are designed to test the skills of a Ranger. However, it is said that a disaster will occur if all four are completed. After several warnings not to complete the fourth, Solana and Lunick travel to the relic to test their skills:
- Destruction Challenge: There are many jewels that require a particular Field Move to break. A Salamence must be captured to light the purple flames.
- Water Challenge: Cross a narrow bridge while avoiding attacks from a group of Gyarados. At the other end, two Kingdra must be captured to light the blue flames.
- Wind Challenge: Travel through a winding road being wary of the strong winds. Then capture a Flygon to light the green flames.
After the three challenges are completed, the Go-Rock Squad trick Lunick and Solana into capturing a Charizard, thus completing the fourth challenge. With the red flames lit up, the statue becomes an actual Entei and a volcanic eruption completely alters the area, attracting many wild Pokémon. The Rangers make their way further into the relic where they temporarily foil Gordor's plans to capture Entei.
In a mission after the credits, Groudon rests at the Jungle Relic after a battle with Kyogre.
Trials
The Challenge of Destruction
Trial Inscription: The power of destruction you must seek from those that fall from the sky. Having thus cleared your path, face you shall the rage of destruction's king. By your hand you must becalm the fury that drives the savage beast. Whence the king is so calmed, the seal of stone shall be no more, bringing conclusion upon the challenge of destruction. In the chambers of trial there shall be no record saved, for that in itself a challenge is posed.
The Challenge of Water
Trial Inscription: The wrathful streams of water-dragons you must elude lest you lose your way. What awaits are the familiars of water whose angry spirits seek serenity at your hands. Whence they are so calmed, the seal of stone shall be no more, bringing conclusion upon the challenge of water. In the chambers of trial there shall be no record saved, for that in itself a challenge is posed.
The Challenge of Wind
Trial Inscription: From four directions do strong winds blow. At times oppose them, at times accept them, and your path you shall find. Awaiting your arrival shall be the wrath of one that represents wind. By your hand you must becalm the fury that drives the savage beast. Whence the beast is so calmed, the seal of stone shall be no more, bringing conclusion upon the challenge of wind. In the chambers of trial there shall be no record saved, for that in itself a challenge is posed.

Since the trial inscription was defaced by the Go-Rock Squad, it is unknown the exact words of the inscription, however it can be assumed to be similar to the other three trial inscriptions.
