Mewtwo (Japanese: ミュウツー Mewtwo, German: Mewtu, French: Mewtwo, Korean: 뮤츠 Myucheu) is a Psychic-type Pokémon. It is one of the more famous Legendary Pokémon, being the subject of two Pokémon Movies. You can capture it in Pokémon Red, Pokémon Green, Pokémon Blue, Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen after defeating the Elite Four. It is found in the Unknown Dungeon at Level 70.
Mewtwo's Ability is Pressure, which causes the opponent to use two PP instead of one each time it uses a move.
Mewtwo does not evolve from or into any other Pokémon.

Name origin
Mewtwo's name is a combination of Mew, referring to the Pokémon on which it was based, and two, indicating that it is a clone of Mew.
It is very cat-like, and its nature and origin are similar to elements of Mary Shelly's Frankenstein, in which an artificial lifeform turned on its creators.

In the anime
While Mewtwo has been the Pokémon of focus of two Movies, it also made brief appearances in EP063 and EP064 in its body-armor. The first intance was when Giovanni used it to battle Gary's Arcanine and Nidoking. The second time was when Mewtwo totaled Giovanni's headquarters and flew off.
