Release information

This card was released as a promotional card. In Japan, it was part of a special vending sheet available at the World Hobby Fair in 1998, along with Pikachu and Mewtwo. Later Japanese versions were released as part of the "Pokémon Best Collection" CD. The card was never released in English.

Trivia

  • The Mew included in the "Pokémon Best Collection" CD has the Pikachu Records logo in place of an Expansion symbol.

Origin

Pound is a move in the Pokémon games that Mew can learn. Psy-dupe has essentially the same effect as Metronome does in the TCG.
