Paul's Magmar (Japanese: シンジのブーバー Shinji's Boober) is a Pokémon owned by Paul.

Magmar was first seen in a flashback in DP066 where it was shown defeating Maylene's Lucario in a gym battle winning the Cobble Badge.

It appeared again in DP100.

• Some speculate that Magmar is Paul's replacement for Chimchar, as in Glory Blaze!, he said after releasing Chimchar he would find another Template:Type2.
• Magmar is the second of Paul's Pokémon to first appear in a flashback, the other being Ninjask.
