Keegan (Japanese: ユタカ Yutaka) is a character of the day from the Pokémon anime who appeared in The Stolen Stones. His English voice actress is Tara Jayne and his Japanese voice actress is くまいもとこ Motoko Kumai.
He appeared with his older sister Ramona. They were delivering some Fire Stones for a Template:Type2 Pokémon battling contest which was going to be held nearby. He and his sister saved Ash, Misty and Brock from a fall with the help of their three Arcanine.
Keegan tried to teach Ash how to command and ride his Arcanine after he showed a lot of interest. However he had a hard time learning how to be one with Arcanine. Soon the Fire Stones that he and his sister were delivering are stolen by Team Rocket. They soon split up and Keegan and Ash decide to follow Jessie. They follow her right to a battle field. She gave her word that she would give the stones back if Ash defeats her in a battle. Pikachu easily defeats her Arbok and she seemingly hands the stones over. But once they go to retrieve them they fall into a hole and find out that the Fire Stones were fake. Even worse, Keegan hurts his arm in the fall.
Once out of the hole, Keegan and Ash attempt to go after Jessie to get the stones and Pikachu back. But as soon as Arcanine tries to take off, Keegan cringes in pain. Ash suggests that he should lead Arcanine and Keegan agrees. Ash still had trouble leading Arcanine but Keegan said that Ash had to become one with Arcanine like he did with Pikachu. Soon, Ash can lead Arcanine perfectly.
They soon find Team Rocket and get the stones back. Keegan and Ramona then delivered them to the competition.
