Captain Pikachu (Japanese: キャプテンピカチュウ Captain Pikachu) is a Lightning-type Basic Pokémon card. It was released as a promotional card in Japan only. This page uses the English equivalents of Japanese names.

Release Information
This card was released to commemorate the moving of the Yokohama Pokémon Center in Japan on October 10th 2008. The card was never released in English.
Trivia
- As the name of the card indicates, the illustration features a Pikachu wearing a naval captain's hat manning a ship with several other Pokémon as the ship's crew. Many of the Pokémon featured in the illustration belong to main characters in the anime.
- This card was released as a Jumbo card and was therefore not legal to use in tournaments or official events.
- The card features the Yokohama Pokémon Center logo.
- The card features a plain foil silver border.
Origin
A Pikachu was available for download on the same day at the Yokohama Pokémon Center. The Pikachu shares a similarity to this card in that it knows the move Surf.
