Technician's effect on Confusion?

STAB?
If the Pokémon with Technician uses a STAB move with 60 base power, does it still receive a Technician boost?
For example, if I had an Ambipom with Technician, and it would use Swift, would it still get the Technician boost, even if STAB boosts Swift's base power? Dilophosaurus Rex 16:30, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
