The English version also has a gold foil stamp in the top right corner that reads "Kids WB Presents Pokémon The First Movie".
The card was later reprinted with different artwork by Benimaru Itoh and also released promotionally. In Japan, this version came with the June 1997 issue of CoroCoro Comic, released in May 1997. The English version of the variant card was included in the DVD and VHS releases of Mewtwo Strikes Back.
