Jasmine's Speech Patterns
Jasmine has trouble speaking? Do you mean she has a speech impediment (which I don't recall her having), or do you mean that she has social trouble due to her shyness? In that case...I donno, 'trouble speaking' seems like the wrong phrase to use. --BJ
I'd have to second that one on just being straight shyness, and no speech impediment...
I meant that she freezes up and mumbles while talking because she's so shy. Not that she actually has a impediment or disorder or anything. I mean, if I said I had "trouble drawing" it just means that I'm bad at drawing. Not that I have arthritis or am missing a hand. But if you'd like to rephrase it, be my guest. - Zeta
- It is not even worth mentioning; just because someone pauses or says "um" does not mean they have trouble speaking. -Lord Hyren 01:31, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
D/P
Her quotes from Diamond and Pearl should added along with Her Steelix and what moves it uses in the super contests.--Lego3400 20:49, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
her relative
in "fight for the light" she is in the lighthouse with her Grandpa Myron, but the page says her relatives are unknown -Moldy orange
- Grandpa Myron? Never heard of 'em. Was he seen? --Maxim 20:53, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yes he was seen! He is in the shining lighthouse with jasmine when Ash and co. come to talk to her again. He is the one who explains to Ash that Ampharos was the light for the lighthouse before there was electricity and that once the other lighthouse was built, they still use Ampharos to continue the tradition. and how it is sick. He is with Jasmine throughout the last half of the episode. -Moldy orange 23:58, 1 January 2008
Super contest
I was in a super contest on diamond the other day and I saw her in the audience. Darkmaster0
- Already mentioned in the article -Lord Hyren 01:33, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- No it's not. She enters super contests, she might be watching regular contests. We have nothing about her watching super contests. It might be trivia-worthy, but I'd like you to provide a picture. After all, it wouldn't make much sense to have Jasmine watching super contests if she's in them. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 02:22, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
Kankitsu Family?
"The Steel President of the Kankitsu Family" is the translation of her Japanese title. Does this mean her family name, at least in the Japanese version, is Kankitsu (Kankitsu Mikan)? Looking deeper into the meaning of Kankitsu, it is also the name for Pumello Island in the Japanese version, and thus must be a variant of the orange fruit. Therefore, it could be just a joke in reference to her name, Mikan, which is another variant of orange. Still, I wonder if they really mean her to be her family name. Ah. Here it seems "Kankitsurui" means "Citrus Fruits", so Kankitsu probably just means citrus fruit. This would make her, Mikan (the Mandarin Orange) the "President" of the Citrus Fruit Family. I must conclude it's most likely just a joke, not her actual name. Still, it is worth noting. Satosuke 01:01, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

- "Kankitsu Family" is a Mistranslation. It should be Citrus Family (family under its biological definition). --Maxim 13:25, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
