The show was started on Toonami block at 5:00pm IST in the Hindi and English dub only. It has become one of the most popular shows on Cartoon Network. Cartoon Network India aired first two seasons of Pokémon straight but then suddenly they stopped airing new episodes after the 2nd season probably due to dubbing process. They repeated the initial two seasons for few months. After a year, Cartoon Network started the 3rd season of [[Pokémon]] and then repeated it respectively. In 2004, Cartoon Network India started a separate feed for Pakistani viewers which was also available in Bangladesh. Both channels were in sink in airing the anime.
