Zululoo is the new Pokémon World just south of the Sinnoh region. It is larger than any other region and features for the first time ever 'no new Pokémon' to catch. Instead the player is given to fill in the National Pokédex by himself. Before even getting the National Pokédex the player has to defeat a Player known as RIVAL X a new addition to the list of characters and his academy, RIVAL X academy. The Pokédex before defeating RIVAL X is called the Zululoo Dex. One new feature is the Pokeweb which is like the internet on the game.

Towns and Cities and sites of interest

Zululoo has quite a lot of Towns and cities including many sites of interest. They are written here as follows by order of visiting:

  1. Merage Village:The player has to choose between Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Chikorita, Totodile, Cindaquil, Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup.
  2. Fertinate Town:Unlike previous regions where the Daycare does not appear till later, Zululoo has the daycare in the second town.
  3. Moraine Ways:The town where the player has to first beat RIVAL X and acquires Tree climb
  4. Remoraine City:The biggest city. Takes up 5 squares on the map instead of 4. It has a department store and next to it a locally run store. When the player first reaches the department store there will be a fight between the two where RIVAL X and the departmental store owner battles you and the local store owner.
  5. Nutorzeland area: A land where berries grow faster. Berry masters house
  6. Mustarding Forest: Full of trees where you have to apply Mustard instead of Honey
  7. Dolleds Mountain: An area where the player sees Latios and Latias after defeating the RIVAL X academy.
  8. Zcovlesd Zone:RIVAL X academy is situated here but the player is not allowed in until he reaches the last city where the climax of the plot takes place.
  9. NUGAMED corner:Like earlier game corners and gambling shops, this city is only fun and games
  10. Pine sea city: A large port. Player gets Surf after defeating RIVAL X here again.
  11. Sea Vortexone: The sea with many trainers. Player reaches the next city almost with no Pokémon if not strong enough.
  12. Air city:Player acquires Fly after beating the RIVAL X
  13. Marioze City: Player Defeats the RIVAL X
  14. Climaxe city: The climax of the game takes place here.
  15. Cave of Climaxe: Player is able to catch Diagla/Palkia/Kyogre/Gorudon If he chose Dracon steel/Wet steel/Underwater omen/Land crusher respectively in Fertinate Town.
  16. Volacicon:Player defeats the Last RIVAL X and gains trust to enter the RIVAL X academy.

After Academy Locations This only become available after the academy and the National Dex is gotten:

  1. Meard:Player catches Darkrai
  2. Feard:Player catches Shemyn
  3. Cave of origin:Player Catches Arceus
  4. Tradelink center:Available in Remoraine town. Used to communicate with Diamond and Pearl
  5. Marteryd Island:Player catches the 3 regis and ultimately Regigigas

Special Locations Is made available by going to a Pokémon Center in the real world

  1. Shiny Feebas island: There are no shining Feebas here instead there is one shiny Milotic. Player has to defeat the Guardians of SFI (shiny feebas island) (Feebas LV 30, Feebas LV 60, Feebas LV 90)
  2. Underwater Nook:Player comes here by an event since Dive is not available in the game. The player has a chance to catch Manaphy.
  3. 1000th Island:Player has to trade 1000 pokémon from the previous games(Not 1000 pokemon in the pokedex but getting 1000 pokemon). Player is given a Master sticker and a LV 50 Darkrai. The Darkrai has to be unlocked through the event while the sticker is in game.

?????? Salamence

When Cintya shows you a Salamence you Pokédex will record it as ?????? Image: Pokedex entry ??????

Pokéweb

In the Zululoo region there is a Computer next to the Nurse in the Pokemon center. On the right is the box and normal functions while on the left is the Net access. When you log on it asks you how to connect, you can choose from Wireless, Wi-fi, or In game. On wireless and Wi-fi it is just like mystery gift. While the in game is a range of pages(172) to browse. During the game you get Pokésites to visit. The most famous (in the ????? slamence page) is pokedexproblems.poke and Pokecommunity.poke

There is a search engine called Pokeweb.poke

Pages are added as you progress, through connecting to the Nintendo WFC (Pokecommunity.poke , Pokemonmovies.poke , mysterygift.poke) and Wireless events.

User sites

Players can make their own user sites on the computer(real life) with their Wi-Fi code and Name typed correctly for login, to add security they ask you for you personalized code (selected through the Personalization option). The player hosts a few pages and then loads it on the web for access. This service was stopped after too many people hacked their games and corrupted the cartridge. The service was stopped when the person connected to the Nintendo WFC after 12.08.07

Stuff to do

Players can also edit the game by using LARDIT software on the computer and host it on their website.

TRIVIA

The Zululoo Region has the least amount of pokemon before the academy and most after it.

The Zululoo Region was supposed to be released as a counter part of Diamond and Pearl (like Emerald)

The Zululoo game is called Pokémon Topaz and Garnet

The Zululoo game is a 3D world with better visual graphics. Unlike Diamond and Pearl, Players can choose to be male or female and select a sprite that suits their personality
