If Mr. Mime would be damaged by an attack, reduce that damage by 10 for each basic Energy card attached to Mr. Mime. The maximum amount of damage that can be reduced by Energy Barrier is 20.

Trivia

This card is one of four in the Aquapolis expansion to feature an 'a' version and a 'b' version. Unlike the other three cards, where the 'a' and 'b' versions are identical except for their Dot Code data, the Energy Barrier Poké-Body on this card reads slightly differently on the two versions of this card. The 'a' version is as shown above, while the 'b' version reads as follows:

This card's English e-Reader Pokédex entries come from Pokémon Crystal. The Japanese entry for the print numbered 95a/147 also comes from Pokémon Crystal, but the entry from the print numbered 95b/147 comes from Pokémon Gold. Mind Shock is an attack that first appeared on Dark Kadabra and Dark Alakazam from Team Rocket.
