I performed research on this.  I do not know for sure if spheres disappear after being buried too long, but I found that: Only 99 spheres can be buried at a time.  Attempting to bury more causes the oldest sphere to disappear.

Did more research.  It's true what the Sinnoh Underground page says, the full size of a buried sphere that has grown is added to the largest sphere put down.  The formula should be changed to reflect this. --JulesLetters 20:26, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
Okay, I changed the formula myself.  It's a bit difficult to understand, but the best I could come up with.  If anyone else wants to question me on it and work out something more human-readable, I'd be more than happy to work with them. --JulesLetters 21:44, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

I have Pearl and I notice that I get more Pale spheres than my brother (who has Diamond). He gets more Prism spheres than me. And when either of us (rarely) gets one of the rarer ones, it is small (like size 1 or 2). Does this have something to do with the Pale sphere looking like Palkia's pearl and the Prism sphere looking like Dialga's diamond? Dialgarules 23:03, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

Dissappearing spheres?

Will spheres dissappear after being buried too long? I could have sworn they have for me, and my friends share this view. Angerman 06:07, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

I performed research on this. I do not know for sure if spheres disappear after being buried too long, but I found that: Only 99 spheres can be buried at a time. Attempting to bury more causes the oldest sphere to disappear. --JulesLetters 19:12, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

Buried spheres

Did more research. It's true what the Sinnoh Underground page says, the full size of a buried sphere that has grown is added to the largest sphere put down. The formula should be changed to reflect this. --JulesLetters 20:26, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

Pale/Prism Rarity?

I have Pearl and I notice that I get more Pale spheres than my brother (who has Diamond). He gets more Prism spheres than me. And when either of us (rarely) gets one of the rarer ones, it is small (like size 1 or 2). Does this have something to do with the Pale sphere looking like Palkia's pearl and the Prism sphere looking like Dialga's diamond? Dialgarules 23:03, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
