This card was released as a promotional card. In Japan, it came with ''Understand How to Play Pokémon Cards Now: Newest Edition'', released in November 1998. The early print of the card termed Asobikata Diglett was printed on regular card stock. The card art was later reprinted in {{TCG|Pokémon Web}} however this version was printed in the e-reader format. The original version of the card is therefore much rarer than its Web reprint counterpart. The card was never released in English.
