| Due to special coding in place in the article, the artwork featured on this article will change every year on February 27 and September 30 in celebration of the releases of {{2v2|Red|Green}} in Japan, and {{2v2|Red|Blue}} in the United States. This will only affect the artwork shown in the infobox. Arctic marine mammal influences

Since Dewgong is a Water/Ice pokemon, it not only draws inspiration from arctic seals, it's teeth could be a reference to walruses just as it's horn could be a reference to narwals. Overall, seals, walruses, and narwals are marine mammals that in the arctic. Dugongs are tropical mammals.Robbie (talk) 15:09, 18 May 2019 (UTC)

Walrus influence

Just as the horn on Dewgong's head might a reference to narwhals, it's tusk-like teeth could be a reference to walruses.Robbie (talk) 15:02, 15 June 2019 (UTC)
