In Japan, it was available as a Gold Point prize through the [[Pokémon Daisuki Club]]'s Action Point system, which replaced the Pokémon Fan Club and its EXP Point system in May 2008. There were two prints for the Daisuki Club: Once in the DPt-P series and once in the L-P series. The DPt-P card was made, then quickly the series changed to the L-P series, so only a few people got this card in the DPt-P series before it changed to L-P series. Most people did not have enough points to get the DPt-P card before it changed, making the DPt-P version much rarer. It was also distributed alongside the Pokémon Card Game gold rank gift card in October 2009.

Release information

This card was released as one of two promotional cards, alongside Wobbuffet, available in the HeartGold & SoulSilver Three Pack Blisters. In Japan, it was released as a DPt-P Promotional card and available as a Gold Rank prize to members of the Pokémon Daisuki Club. To achieve a Gold Rank, players had to accumulate at least 1,200 Action Points (AP). As the TCG transitioned into the LEGEND Era in Japan, the card was reprinted as a L-P Promotional card, which also required 1,200 AP to earn. Due to the relatively short timeframe in which to accumulate the requisite number of points, many members would have been awarded the card after the transition, making the DPt-P print rarer than the L-P print.

Trivia

Origin
