Hey, when you did [[Special:Diff/2374289|this]], were you doing that while looking at game data? I'm asking because at that time our page had the additional effect at 10% for RB, which apparently was wrong; so it ''could'' be either way. For now, I kinda had to assume you weren't (but in case you actually were and they changed it in Stadium already but forgot the desciption, I'd be very glad if you could change it back). :You're right, I did not. Also, I just dived into the disassembly for Pokémon Red/Blue, and found that the exact effect chance for Constrict (and any other move that has a potential side effect of causing a stat modification) in those games is 85/256 — basically one in three. (If you're wondering why I didn't check this before, the answer is that I wasn't as familiar with the disassemblies back then.) So, nice catch! Thanks for cleaning up my mistake. | :You're right, I did not. :::Anytime! I just checked, and the other five moves that have the same "stat down side effect" effect code in RB are Bubble, Bubblebeam, Aurora Beam, Acid and Psychic. ::::I already fixed the ones mentioned at that talk page, then found out Acid wasn't mentioned but also incorrect, and thought I'd compile a complete list some other day. Constrict Stadium effect chance
Hey, when you did this, were you doing that while looking at game data? I'm asking because at that time our page had the additional effect at 10% for RB, which apparently was wrong; so it could be either way. For now, I kinda had to assume you weren't (but in case you actually were and they changed it in Stadium already but forgot the desciption, I'd be very glad if you could change it back). - You're right, I did not.
