Just a thing regardingRockin' Lock which I've brought here because I thought it would be faster/not that important. I did once say it might be better to remove the "Klefki's" part of the name, but then if you look at the descriptions used in the Treasure Boxes (e.g. Hard Box, there aren't many there yet), they use "Klefki's Rockin' Lock"). Now I think "Klefki's Rockin' Lock" is the full name and "Rockin' Lock" is its shortened name. What are your thoughts? Regardless, I don't think it would be necessary anymore to state that the official website is wrong since it's used in-game. --<span style="color:green">Wowy</span>(토크) 04:56, 12 July 2016 (UTC)
:Yes, or it might be used to emphasize the point that Klefki is running that shop rather than calling the shop by that name, I mean he does say "Welcome to Rockin' Lock!" and if you press the info option "I can crack any lock here at Rockin' Lock!" so that's my guess. Therefore it's not part of the name rather there to tell who's running that shop. But I do agree with you that we can remove the trivia. --<span style="color:#FF6464">R</span><span style="color:#11BB11">alts</span><span style="color:#6464FF">eye</span> prata med mej 05:11, 12 July 2016 (UTC) | :Yes, or it might be used to emphasize the point that Klefki is running that shop rather than calling the shop by that name, I mean he does say "Welcome to Rockin' Lock!" and if you press the info option "I can crack any lock here at Rockin' Lock!" so that's my guess. Hi. I saw that you changed the russian names of three Nintendo 3DS themes. I would like to know if you're sure these are the names that appear on a european Nintendo 3DS. If they are, someone with a european 3DS should check the other languages' names. Also, if that's the case, maybe both names should be cited. The source I used for the russian names was the official site. --[[User: | Hi. Here's the thing. I am the one who started adding translations to Chinese names and a couple of Korean ones while at it. I would have worked with the other languages, but I am not fluent enough to do it. The staff are perfectly fine with adding translations. There is no unspoken rule of not translating those written with Latin characters, so there is no need to enforce some sort of consistency with that. | Here's the thing. :I mean there is a part of a page for the lyrics of the song, so why not include it in the In Other Languages section (I'm gonna include it on all three pages). Although I wonder if "Incomplete = Czech name missing" or something should be added. I also went and checked/fixed the rest of the songs as well, as you probably noticed, so I think that should be fine (a few were slightly different from what we used in the lyric translations but it's alright, they are very close). ~KingisNitro <small>(talk)</small> 22:34, 26 August 2018 (UTC) | :I mean there is a part of a page for the lyrics of the song, so why not include it in the In Other Languages section (I'm gonna include it on all three pages). ::I saw that, good work. I'm not quite sure what you mean.. Though, regarding the incomplete notice with missing Czech, I've been told before that "adding names to the "In other languages section" is only bonus and does not count as crucial information and does therefore not warrant an incomplete notice". So don't add it, you'll have to keep it in your head. Translation notice on the other hand should be used, when applicable. --<span style="color:#FF6464">R</span><span style="color:#11BB11">alts</span><span style="color:#6464FF">eye</span> prata med mej 22:46, 26 August 2018 (UTC)
:::Turns out I forgot to do it yesterday, so I added the last two links now. Whoops.
:::Ok I mean I guess that makes sense, although in this case, I cannot add the translation notice because it's not really a translation, but rather the name of the song as someone else translated it. Hey, I noticed that in 2016 you added a Russian name for Incense to the Incense page. Where did that come from? To my knowledge, Incense has only appeared in the games. Hey, remember the trailer in cinemas (with Waldemar Barwiński as Pikachu) that I send you earlier? This was rather a one-off thing, because Warner Bros Polska uploaded two trailers with Maciej Stuhr as Pikachu (trailer, trailer). Ummm... I think the "(Gates to infinity)" part is pretty vital in the title. Otherwise, it could be mistaken to just any sort of Espeon and Umbreon. Incomplete reasons
"Missing information" isn't a good descriptor to use for incomplete notices; that first one should've been clarified awhile ago so people don't have to ask, as you did. Put the stuff that needs to be added instead. glikglak 18:04, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
- Sorry, should it be then needs 'items and languages boxes' if they dont have any or what did you mean by languages sections? --Raltseye (talk) 18:10, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
PMD TMs
I remember there being a guide on GameFAQs that listed the items that could spawn within the dungeons and what items the shops could sell. Not sure if there's one for Explorers, though. Eridanus (talk) 14:59, 22 May 2015 (UTC)
- Do you mean this http://www.gamefaqs.com/ds/938930-pokemon-mystery-dungeon-explorers-of-darkness/faqs/57222 then I am not sure I if can count on this as reliable source though, but I will take it to consideration and see for my self if it's correct. But it's right about Beach Cave and Drenched Bluff so far so thank you alot for the tip. --Raltseye (talk) 16:03, 22 May 2015 (UTC)
Glitch
To answer your questions:
- I have no idea, I did not have the intention of recruiting it, I was just simply searching the mountain passes for Sky Gifts, although I could not have recruited it if I tried (around level 70, and no Golden Mask/Ember Tear)
- Kecleons were indeed spawned, but did not appear on the next floor.
- This was triggered by a trap directly next to the shop in my case, although I am sure it could be activated manually with Selfdestruct/Explosion.
It was pure accident, by the way, I saw a Kecleon shop, decided to check it out, nothing interesting there, and when I stepped off it, I happened to set of a selfdestruct trap. The Kecleon was damaged due to it, but no items were in the blast radius. Then I noticed my partner attacked the Kecleon, so I decided to attack it too until it fainted. Nothing really happened, so I then tried to take something (a Gummi) and leave the shop, since there was no Kecleon. I was then labeled a thief despite the shopkeeper being knocked out, and then the normal effects of thievery occurred: music change and super fast Kecleons spawned. I used my Mobile Scarf to head to the stairs (I knocked out a Kecleon in the process, nothing special happened) and on the next floor, everything was normal. (if I remember correctly, the Kecleon will still attack you when you move to the next floor, although that might only be in Red/Blue)
I did not find anything else unique about it though; but it would be easy to replicate with Selfdestruct or Explosion for more experimentation.
- Edit: Kecleon appeared on the recruitment list afterwards, meaning they (should) be able to be recruited. Also, apparently they will not appear on the next floor even if you steal "normally"
- Not sure if this is really a glitch, or a strange oversight, though. BetaT (talk) 21:15, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you for taking your time answering my questions and thank you for answering so precise, apriciate it. By the way if you move on to the next floor in Explorers of Darkness and Time all the Kecleons should be gone, I honestly didn't even know that they followed you to the next floor in Red/Blue Rescue team. Intresting thing that they appear on the recruit list i know that they could be recruited but I did not think that they would appear on the recruit list --Raltseye (talk) 16:12, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
Answer: Interwiki links
What do you mean? I only added a name, that's all! Beacause I can speak Dutch. - unsigned comment from Lokki (talk • contribs)
- What I meant was that fr:Bulbizarre, de:Bisasam and pl:Bulbasaur link to Poképédia, Pokéwiki and Wikinezka respectivly and nl:Bulbasaur could theoreticly link to a similar site if they were a member of Encyclopædiæ Pokémonis I thought you knew of a site that you thought could been linked to thats all. And for adding Dutch to the in other languages section I consider it not notisable since allmost all languages in europe with the latin alphabet uses that name such as Swedish, Norweigian, Danish, Portuguese, Dutch, Finish, Albanish, and so on and so on therefor only add when it is different from english in some way like Bisasam. Thats why I removed it. --Raltseye (talk) 15:16, 29 June 2015 (UTC)
Templates
Hello, please don't edit templates without admin permission, especially a template that being used on multiple articles. I'll let your edit slide, but if you want to make further edits to the Fansite template (or any other template) just let me or any other admin know. Thank you.--ForceFire 13:43, 22 September 2015 (UTC)
- Please don't just move a template just because you got no response. No response does not mean you can move it. I know you asked me, I've asked the other admins for their opinions but they've been really busy the past few weeks, so I had nothing to respond with. So in future, just be patient.--ForceFire 03:15, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
Userspace limits
Hello. I have noticed that you have been editing the User:
namespace a lot recently, and have made a total of 4+ userspace edits today. Please do not edit the userspace any more, as the userspace policy limits the amount you can edit your userpage: No more than three edits per day (by UTC), and you must contribute to the mainspace more than you edit your user page(s). This policy was instated to promote people helping out in the mainspace, and also to control strain on our servers. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, after all, so help us out by contributing to some articles before coming back to your personal page(s). The more often you edit in the mainspace, the more you will be allowed to edit your user page(s). Thank you. --ForceFire 03:51, 2 December 2015 (UTC)
Passwords
I stumbled upon a passwords post at GameFAQs. I have tested all North American passwords, and all work, so this leads me to believe the others will work. I've rearranged them into the stage order (S04-07 was before S03-06 for some reason), but I need to verify which stage of Area 05 the latter two each unlocks as I had not cleared S05-06 and paid attention. Can you go and tackle S05-06 and then use one of those two passwords? After using it, check whether S05-07 or S05-08 was unlocked; whichever is not is unlocked by the other password. Passwords are listed on the main article and anything outside my region is marked as "untested" for now. Cheers! CycloneGU (talk) 15:42, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
- Well I can now confirm that the first code unlocks 05-07 in PAL which rather seems more like europe since Australia is not included and if they are all correct downwards I will just change this and it'll be correct I guess. --Raltseye 18:07, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
- Awesome. I left "S05-0" in both columns on the article, so I'll update that finding. I thought 05-07 would be first, but wanted a confirmation rather than guessing. I finished that puzzle just now; I earlier did Ash-Greninja while out, but made a mistake somewhere and had to erase a chunk in the middle, then pause and close the system to finish later due to energy. Longest solve yet at 15 minutes and change. LOL Thanks! =) CycloneGU (talk) 03:44, 5 December 2015 (UTC)
Stage Data
I have news for you. I just got someone to do a data rip and it turns out there are missions for ALT World stages. So what we're doing for 1-30 right now we have to do again for 1-30 in the Alt World.
I am not sure what the total Picrite rewards are, but seeing that data tells me that we have more than enough to earn back in the Alt World. I'm going to clear through Area 10 and then I might think about moving into there after reviewing the missions for Alt World to see if I can do all of them. The missions include things like "avoid setting any legendary or mythical Pokémon" and "avoid setting any Pokémon", though some have things like "avoid using any reveal skills". Since there is likely a time goal, and likely the fourth for doing all missions, it suggests there are 6 Picrites possible per stage again, meaning for an average of 7 Pokémon per area, over 10 areas (I know, one has three, one has five...work with me here), you're still looking at a possible 6*7*10=420 Picrites just for those 70 possible stages. 300 for Alt World now seems like a worthwhile investment.
Going to post this finding at GameFAQs right now, in fact. I've asked for editing power over the sheet so that I can decode everything, after which I can copy every single task in. Continue as you are for now, and I'll start from the back, eventually working over to Alt World. After you reach where I add to, all you have to do when I'm done is verify that I didn't code anything incorrectly when entering the goals and I'll do the same in both worlds as well.
Also sharing this news with Lanthanum. CycloneGU (talk) 03:25, 6 December 2015 (UTC)
- I am all ready there and it costs 300 Picrites to unlock and it is the same levels as standard mode with Mega Picross (you know these with mega rows or what they are called), harder missions as noted and no Picrite or Mural Tile revards and they do also follow your progress in standard mode atleast for starters. I just tried to clear one level to far so to speak there and I proceeded strangely enough to the next level which I had not cleared in standard mode. --Raltseye 10:44, 6 December 2015 (UTC)
- This is good information, actually. It's possible to play the game in Alt World, then go back to the normal mode and play the stages in whatever order you choose? It gives the idea to start playing in Alt World at Area 05 and then continuing through to Areas 21 and 22, then go back and do the missions with the Pokémon needed from those worlds in Normal Mode. If that works. CycloneGU (talk) 15:11, 6 December 2015 (UTC)
PMD: GTI in Korean
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity wasn't released in Korean (neither was PSMD), so there shouldn't be any Korean names for dungeons on their pages. --Abcboy (talk) 22:54, 5 February 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you for pointing that out. I assumed that it had been released in Korea because some other PMDGTI pages had Korean names fake I guess, they have been removed now. --Raltseye 23:32, 5 February 2016 (UTC)
Interwiki
I know you want them "only" when the pages on the relatives wiki are already created, but be sure I put them always before I create them on PCW. If you are able to wait some minutes, you'll note that those interwikis will have a destination. It's a way for me to remember them and to put pages under special observing. Bye.--Franky7 (talk) 18:00, 7 March 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, but it took you 16 min to do that and I waited 7 minutes so I thought you had forgot. Besides I think it would be safer to add them when the page has been created incase you would forget. --Raltseye 19:20, 7 March 2016 (UTC)
Redirects
The search bar doesn't take in to account capitalization unless it has to (like Breakthrough and BREAKthrough), so making redirects for alternate capitalizations is unnecessary. glikglak 11:31, 5 April 2016 (UTC)
Swedish themes
Could you add the Swedish lyrics and titles of Be a Hero and Stand Tall? Also, could you add the Swedish name origin to Squishy? Thanks! --Abcboy (talk) 16:05, 15 May 2016 (UTC)
- Squishy's Swedish name origin has been added, and boy might I say that is a might cute name, Kletis. About Stand Tall and Be a Hero, I'll add Stand Tall when get the time in the coming days here since I'm also currently adding the Diamond and Pearl series lyrics from pokemon.com/se I'll add those first then Stand Tall and then Be a Hero. Besides how and where do we know the names of the songs? --Raltseye 17:31, 15 May 2016 (UTC)
Wikisimpsons and Pokémon references
Hey, just want to thank you for getting it sorted to use Wikisimpsons links on the page. I appreciate it and felt like it wouldn't have been right to ask myself. Also, we have a page on Wikisimpsons with a huge list of Pokemon references and I notice not all of them are on the article here. Would you be willing to add the missing ones in? Thanks, ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 23:07, 26 May 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you for the appreciation, and thank you for telling me about the list, I'll add that shortly. I don't know what order we had with the episodes before but I'm changing it to season. Of course I'm always glad to help :) By the way the staff won't bite so you shouldn't be afraid to ask ;) --Raltseye 07:50, 27 May 2016 (UTC)
Russian transliterations
Is there a particular system of romanization you are using when romanizing Russian? I've been drafting a policy for consistently romanizing information in other languages, and your help with Russian would be appreciated. --Abcboy (talk) 21:50, 26 June 2016 (UTC)
- I have generally been trying to do kinda like Wikipedia and always writing Покемон as Pokémon even when it's inflected like Покемоном to Pokémonom, and ь to ' unlike wikipedia, ъ is omnitted and I etc. --Raltseye prata med mej 21:56, 26 June 2016 (UTC)
Aegislash
Alright, I have currently moved your edit to the NPC Appearance section for now, since that would be the place for it, if appropriate. Just to make sure, do you believe that the Aegislash is notable enough to go there? I ask since I do not own the game and am unsure of their connection to the events of the game. If you do not believe so, then the edit might need to be removed. --Super goku (talk) 19:44, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
- Actually he only says that he is called Gilbrand, and his name is still displayed as Aegislash. And no he has nothing to do with the story. His exact line is;
They call me Gilbrand.
It means shield and sword.
- --Raltseye prata med mej 20:02, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
- So then, let us start with the beginning. According to Bulbapedia:Project_Pokédex/Structure, the NPC appearances section is for "Details of Pokémon in all games (sans Smash Bros. series) which are seen but cannot be caught. Only add as necessary." Now, User:Zesty Cactus has admitted that it is a bit outdated in the last edit, but I do think that there needs to be something that makes it needed to be listed in that section. The second point is about the word "Gilbrand." More specifically, the lack of a word. Are you sure that the spelling is "Gilbrand" and not something different as it does not seem to even exist as a reference or anything. --Super goku (talk) 20:29, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
- Yepp, as sure as one can be. I have the game in my hands as we speak and it does indeed say Gilbrand, and I do agree with you that it does not make any sense since I have also tried to google it with no avail. He is not necessary for the story either, that's why I put it in the trivia section in the first place. --Raltseye prata med mej 20:35, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
- Alright, I think I do have it in the end. Aegislash is called "Gillguard" in Japanese. As already noted on the article, gild can mean "to cover with a layer of gold." Meanwhile, the word brand can have the meaning of "sword." Of course, that is against what Aegislash says, so there might be more to this in the end. Outside of that, I am not fully sure if it should stay. I do see that Abcboy did not remove it, but they might not have the game either. It all depends on if it can be considered "necessary" to note, if that still applies to articles. So, if someone else does end up removing it, then there might not be anything left to say. --Super goku (talk) 21:41, 3 July 2016 (UTC)

Rockin' Lock
Hi! --Wowy(토크) 04:56, 12 July 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, or it might be used to emphasize the point that Klefki is running that shop rather than calling the shop by that name, I mean he does say "Welcome to Rockin' Lock!" and if you press the info option "I can crack any lock here at Rockin' Lock!" so that's my guess. Therefore it's not part of the name rather there to tell who's running that shop. But I do agree with you that we can remove the trivia. --Raltseye prata med mej 05:11, 12 July 2016 (UTC)
Brazilian Portuguese categories
Hello, Raltseye! Can I add the Brazilian Portuguese Pokémon categories to your list? I have the names of 690 out of the 721 Pokémon, that I got from the TCG Online. --Mine4017 (talk) 02:57, 28 August 2016 (UTC)
- Yes of course! That would be very nice :) --Raltseye prata med mej 07:11, 28 August 2016 (UTC)
Hit Points
Hi. Well... I don't know whether I really don't get the logic Abcboy and you are using there, or whether you're just mistaken. (Plus, recent very reliable scientific empirical studies indicate that it's impossible for me to be wrong or mistaken.)
Well, seriously, I'm kinda a native German speaker, and I can assure you that "Kraftpunkte" is the proper nominative plural. So, unless I'm mistaken, we should use that!? I'm a bit hesitant to undo twice, so I'd rather clear this up. I guess you're the more experienced editor at language sections. Nescientist (talk) 14:43, 29 August 2016 (UTC)
- Huh I didn't know that, and here I thought that it was always n in the end for plural in German, fun to learn something new every day. Anyway I'll just go right ahead and change that then. Thank you for bringing this to our atention. --Raltseye prata med mej 17:47, 29 August 2016 (UTC)
I wanted to fix it.
I don't mean to be rude or start an argument but I was going to correct the typo on this page: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_references_to_Pok%C3%A9mon_in_popular_culture also when will my edits be good enaugh? Awesomevenustoise101 (talk) 18:44, 18 September 2016 (UTC)
- Firstly editing is no competition so it doesn't matter who is there to edit first, as long as you have good intentions you're a good editor even if someone happends to be there before you are. Secondly, I don't know how you edit because I don't know you, but I can for starters tell you to always link using these ([]) so your link above would be
List of references to Pokémon in popular culture
instead, ending up like this List of references to Pokémon in popular culture, and remember to review and sign your comments before you save them.
- PS I don't want to be rude either but can sometimes come across like it since English isn't my native language, so please tell if I do :) --Raltseye prata med mej 18:49, 18 September 2016 (UTC)
Porygon2 non-appearance
Hi, regarding your revert... The point here is that the text in the section was written before all Gen6 Pokémon had been revealed, so it says that Porygon2 is the only non-legendary pre-Gen6 Pokémon to appear apart from PorygonZ. However now all Gen6 Pokémon have been revealed, so the "pre-Gen6" condition is no longer relevant. But now not all Gen7 Pokémon have been revealed, because Magearna has appeared but not others. So I still think my change is necessary? Kidburla (talk) 12:49, 21 September 2016 (UTC)
- Sorry for late reply but I do agree with you, and I do think Pumpkinking0192 fixed it. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. --Raltseye prata med mej 21:48, 21 September 2016 (UTC)
Mystery Dungeon items
Excuse me, but I happened to see your template proposal, and I thought you might want to add a • after Gracidea. Also, is there a reason not to change "Emera" and "Key" to their plural forms?
(This is not directly about the template anymore, but...) I don't know if you're a PSMD player, but if you are, you might be able and willing to create a page on crowns that are awarded if you collect all of the Ancient Treasures, Golden Items, etc.!? I stumbled across them on the German wiki while creating dungeon pages; info can be found on Kronen, or Schätze der Welt, or here. These seem to not fit on any existing page from my understanding (which is very limited regarding Mystery Dungeon). Nescientist (talk) 21:21, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
- Done. Why yes I must certainly am a PSMD player but I have not gotten that far in the game I guess. I do think you are refering to this page which is basically a stub and ned to be splitted. --Raltseye prata med mej 21:33, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
- From what I can tell, I'm actually talking of Super Mystery Dungeon exclusive items. The third link explains it quite well, I guess, and the crowns there have different names than the ones on that page. Nescientist (talk) 21:38, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
- Ah okay of course how stupid of me. Sorry. No like I said I'm not that far in the game so I can't create those pages when I do I'll be sure to do that. Don't you have the game btw? --Raltseye prata med mej 21:44, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
- No, sorry, hence my lack of expertise (and also confidence). :( All I do have is the internet, and the ability to translate. If you want, we could create a page in the userspace (assuming a new page is the way to go), where I'd be able to basically translate the German article, and you (or anyone) could add confirmed info, in particular that present at gamefaqs. I don't have confidence to mainspace it myself, though; I'd prefer that'd be done by an actual player. Nescientist (talk) 22:05, 29 September 2016 (UTC)

- Okay, cool. But please wake up laaate. (I don't think I will be finished by tomorrow.) Nescientist (talk) 22:16, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
- Don't worry I'll be back from school in about 16 hours. You think you'll be done by then? ;) But I do need to wake up in about six hours though... *_* --Raltseye prata med mej 22:31, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
- Okay then, I'll try to have something up by this time tomorrow, at latest. I think there'll need to be some design decisions in addition to translation: for example, compared to the German wiki, things are complicated by the fact that we don't have an article where we could easily link to when referring to, for example, "the Ancient Treasures" (similar to the first link for the German wiki). So, probably the article will contain comments or todos then, though, but I'll try to translate anything that's worth translating somewhere. Thanks anyway. Nescientist (talk) 22:42, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
- Well, I realized that 16 hours is actually less than a day! So, here you go, comments/todos at the bottom. Feel free to have it moved, or do anything you like really. Nescientist (talk) 13:31, 30 September 2016 (UTC)
- I can't see anything that immediately needs to be added or reworded. Good job :) I must now start playing PSMD more just to get here :P --Raltseye prata med mej 15:21, 30 September 2016 (UTC)

in other languages template use
Why is the "tt" template better than the "sup" template in the other languages section? The thing is, let's take a page, for instance, the items, what is in Pokémon Red they call it an Item but then they later call it an object in Pokémon X version, many stars (*) would be pretty messy right? I thought that the sup template was created for this purpose. Long story short, I was thinking of doing something like this. What do you think? MannedTooth (Talk) 03:14, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
- Yes I do agree that sup is better to use then tt, but that's only when it's differated between games. The names you was Canadian French used in the manual for Blue Rescue Team, right? In that case I think it's better to use tt to not make it look like those names are used in the Canadian French version of the games which there are none. --Raltseye prata med mej 11:44, 6 December 2016 (UTC)

When adding Portuguese names to the In other languages section, remember to type |pt_eu if the website you got them from is for Portugal only. The Super Mystery Dungeon website is only available in European Portuguese. --Mine4017 (talk) 13:07, 9 December 2016 (UTC)

Talk page policy reminder
Please note that the Talk page policy reads: Unless an old conversation is still relevant and there is a good reason to revitalize discussion, comments on sections older than six months old should not be made. I feel like many editors often overlook this first part of the six month old commenting clause. This means that edits like this is ok, because they were re-pointing out an issue that had not been corrected, making it relevant. Just keep in mind for future reference. Thank you. --Pokemaster97 12:36, 28 January 2017 (UTC)

Regions
I think the list of the regions is necessary for the "Structure" section on the Pokémon world page. The listing of all the mainland regions goes along with the next few sentences that state that the archipelago regions stem off of the previously listed regions. Without listing the mainland regions, it is unknown what regions the archipelago stem off from. --RedHailfire (talk) 00:41, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
- No I think not, the list is unnecessary since such a list is more needed on the page for regions. The section is not for detailing how many regions there are and how they work. If the reader wanmts to know how may regions there are or what defines a region they should read the region page. --Raltseye prata med mej 01:03, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
- I'll pop in to say I agree with the removal. When there are 7+ "mainland regions" and 2 named archipelagos, listing the former doesn't really clarify a thing about the latter. But if someone really wants to know about those archipelagos, they are conveniently linked, and each page nicely explains its relative location. Tiddlywinks (talk) 01:10, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
- The next few sentences just don't seem to make much sense. The sentences go on about how the archipelago regions branch off of "these regions," but the reader doesn't know what "these regions" are because of their removal from the section. If the reader gets the names of "these regions," he/she will be more clear on the topic. It doesn't seem like I'll win this argument; it's two against one at this point. --RedHailfire (talk) 01:18, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
- If we were to list Alola with Hoenn that has little to no relevence to the Orange Archipelago and Decolore Islands if that's what you mean. So again I see no point in listing them and if you have a problem with the wording then change it.--Raltseye prata med mej 01:22, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
- "These regions" refers back to "several regions" in the first sentence. Like I think Raltseye already said, if people want names then, they can check the link. Tiddlywinks (talk) 01:25, 3 March 2017 (UTC)

Deoxys's Greek name
I'm pretty sure it's 'Deoxis", and not "Iteoxis" or "Eteoxis". "Ντ" is both pronounced and Romanized as "d". There are no vowel sounds going on. --Celadonkey 23:26, 14 March 2017 (UTC)

Russian 3DS themes
Hi. I saw that you changed the russian names of three Nintendo 3DS themes. I would like to know if you're sure these are the names that appear on a european Nintendo 3DS. Djinn's Bottle
Hello Raltseye! This is just a question about an edit [1] you made a while ago. You changed the wording to say that Hoopa could summon up to 3 Legendary/Mythical Pokémon. Under what conditions can this happen? Is this only possible when you're traversing a dungeon with only one Pokémon? (It didn't work when I tried this but I only really tried this twice). Or is it only within certain dungeons/scenarios? Thanks! --Wowy(토크) 07:43, 29 September 2017 (UTC)
- Well if I remember correctly I only got up to three legendaries when I tried. Just tried again and I got only one so unless you can get more then three then it's still correct, right? --Raltseye prata med mej 11:15, 29 September 2017 (UTC)
- I've used Hoopa many times and I could only ever summon 1 legendary. I also can't find anything online suggesting you can summon more than 1 legendary. Are you definitely sure you summoned 3 legendaries from Hoopa all on the same floor?--Wowy(토크) 01:55, 30 September 2017 (UTC)
- It's entirely plausible that I summond three Pokémon that were not all necessary legendary when I checked the first time. It seems to be the case. Have you summond more then one Pokémon? --Raltseye prata med mej 20:02, 30 September 2017 (UTC)

Danish
In Showdown at Dark City, Ash calls himself Per Silledusk (from persilledusk, "tuft of parsley,") and Misty calls herself Anne Sjoser (from ansjoser, "anchovies.") The Danish part of the "Z-Moves" sentence also seems quite "Norwegian," so without knowing exactly what is said in the Danish dub, I've changed it a bit: "Højdepunkt af mit sind, af min krop og min ånd. Som Akalas mægtige bjerg, bliv til en farlig flamme, ud og brænde!" I would have watched the episode if it were still on Pokemon.com/dk, but it's not currently available. I'll let you know whenever I know for sure what's said. Ztash (talk) 21:23, 7 March 2018 (UTC)

Neo Soul Silver
Thanks for fixing, Raltseye. Though I know English on medium level, my writting in this language isn't a bit good. By a way, can you tell me about requirements in order my Neo Soul Silver Wiki could be official accepted as one of main Pokemon Wiki? I've plan make it as a Bulbapedia's "official polish counterpart" since Wikinezka was inactive. --Modikisha (talk)
- No problem. If you're looking for it to join Encyclopedia Pokémonis it first of all have to be independant and not hosted on wikia. Secondly, I do believe it has to have at least articles on all Pokémon and be a wiki with a strong foundation and editor base. I'm sorry if I have understood anything incorrectly but isn't this what the Polish wiki on pl.pokemon.wikia.com is? Or do these two wikis have any different scopes? --Raltseye prata med mej 17:41, 17 March 2018 (UTC)
- I know about it, but I may assure Pokemon Wikia and Neo Soul Silver are focusing on same purpose. A difference is between templates: while Pokemon Wikia have a few completely different templates (and undergoes repair), while Neo Soul focuses to trying be Bulbapedia's good counterpart by using Bulbapedia templates and modify them by adding a polish names (latest Sun and Moon episodes on Disney XD shows dubbed attack names are a bit... confusing, for example Knock Off (in DP was "Nokaut", while in SM is "Sabotaż", though attack focus on dealing damage and "knocking off" a holder's item, even if opponent don't have any item.)). So I've decided develop Neo Soul Silver in two purposes: one, to making sure a polish names will give a good meaning for items, Abilities and attacks (like Exp.Share as Roz. Doświadczeń or Breakneck Blitz as Karkołomna Szarża); and two, to give a polish Nintendo world a chance to make a official polish versions of Pokemon games. For now I'll try fulfill a second requirement, a creating 807 Pokemon articles (though I won't promise will be filled with any word. At least Pokemon's data, location, entry and appearance in anime and manga), if it could help make Neo Soul Silver the Wikinezka's successor. --Modikisha (talk)
- I see. Well good luck with that. Also I'm not quite sure about that with all the Pokémon is accurate or the only requirement as I remember reading requirements somewhere, not sure where though. Be wary that it will not garantee Neo Soul Silver a spot in the alliance that's all I'm saying. Secondly, I do not believe Wikinezka was a Bulba-clone nor is any of the other wikis in the alliance so that's not a requirement either. --Raltseye prata med mej 20:35, 17 March 2018 (UTC)

Translations
Here's the thing. I am the one who started adding translations to Chinese names and a couple of Korean ones while at it. I would have worked with the other languages, but I am not fluent enough to do it. The staff are perfectly fine with adding translations. There is no unspoken rule of not translating those written with Latin characters, so there is no need to enforce some sort of consistency with that.
By the way, the policy for other languages is still under works. --超龍「Chao」 01:58, 12 April 2018 (UTC)
- I have removed people doing exactly this before for this very reason before so I thought I'd continue with that. But if I should stop just cause or start editing in all the translations for every language I know everywhere just say. I don't think it's worth it however and that it would be cluttered and don't look to good. --Raltseye prata med mej 09:50, 12 April 2018 (UTC)
Russian type names
Good day. I noticed that you have names of types in Russian on your page. I'm curious as to what source there is for these. I'm asking because most of them are nouns, which aren't used when referring to a type (for example nobody says «Тип вода» или «Тип огонь», everybody uses their respective adjectives). I would assume some official Russian source does have these listed that way, but the fact that, for example, Rock type uses the adjective rather than the expected noun «Камень», makes me doubt that. Long story short: I would like to ask you what source to these names of types is. After all, types' pages seem to use these same words, so I assume you're the one who provided them? Thank you! Kikugi (talk) 07:11, 4 May 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, the ones on my user page are the ones from Pokémon.com's Pokédex. The ones from Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon's and Sun and Moon's offcial sites also uses some kind of noun I believe, I haven't actually made a protocol of that yet. --Raltseye prata med mej 10:01, 4 May 2018 (UTC)

Czech themes
Hi!
You probably noticed me translating a few things on the Czech themes page (altho I'm not Czech myself). Either way I wanted to ask, what is the source for some of these lyrics? I'd like to check (czech? haha) them out because some seem a bit odd and in certain cases differ slightly although they are essentially the same song (like the original theme song and the XY version differ in one word), so I'd just like to check if they are correct. Thanks! ~KingisNitro (talk) 22:54, 19 August 2018 (UTC)
- Hi!
- Well, I'm not sure of the sources of these themes, since I did not add most of them and most of them were added by different people. But I'm sure most (if not all) of them are available on Youtube. Just search for them. There are people dedicated specifically to uploading openings in different languages which is really handy for these kind of things.
- I've only added a few of the themes, therein the CD songs, which I'm sure are taken either from Youtube or elsewhere. I usually check the lyrics (listen to them, I don't speak the language), so they should be correct.
- Were you wondering about any specific themes? --Raltseye prata med mej 23:12, 19 August 2018 (UTC)
- Not really any specific ones, except the one I mentioned (they differ in "posilou/oporou" - "backup/support"), it just made me wonder. There was one more I was curious about (again because of a difference in one word/one sentence) and wanted to chec, but I couldn't quickly find it. I saw you added a lot of them and corrected my typo yesterday so I thought you'd know! It's ok though, thanks. If I stumble upon that again I'll try to look around for it. ~KingisNitro (talk) 23:18, 19 August 2018 (UTC)
- Actually I just found and corrected it haha, it was in the Johto opening. ~KingisNitro (talk) 23:24, 19 August 2018 (UTC)
- Okay, both the original version of the Pokémon Theme are on Youtube and the CD version (and for that matter the whole CD) is available here. --Raltseye prata med mej 23:52, 19 August 2018 (UTC)
- That's great, thanks, I corrected a few according to that. I cannot find the XY version though (the extended one, the short one is here). I am a bit confused about transcribing spoken text though because some songs have it but not all of them... guess it depends on how important it is. ~KingisNitro (talk) 01:05, 20 August 2018 (UTC)
- Yeah, transcripting speech is tricky, I generally don't transcribe it if it's said by characters from the show in the background and not in the song proper. While if it's sung in the song so to speak, it's included. Like in the PokéRap, all the rap (even the talked one) is included, while in some outros or intros where the characters battle and call out attacks or something similar in the background, we don't transcribe that as it's not part of the song.
- Btw, with XY extended version, do you mean the one included in this movie? --Raltseye prata med mej 13:09, 20 August 2018 (UTC)
- I mean I dunno, guess it'd have to be a case to case scenario, it's just that in the first link you gave me, several songs (I just quickly listened to them all) had some sort of spoken text, and some had extra lines (like repeats of the name or the words Pokémon or something like that)... but I didn't bother transcribing all that.
- YES that is it! I had no idea it'd be there, thanks! Actually turns out the original theme is incorrect (why did I not check that one? Who knows) so I am about to edit that. ~KingisNitro (talk) 18:24, 20 August 2018 (UTC)

- Great! Glad it could be resolved. --Raltseye prata med mej 20:37, 20 August 2018 (UTC)
- Also hey a random thought, but do you (we? who's the boss here) want the names of the songs translated as well? Most are probably literal translation, but it's not the case for all of them. Since we're translating lyrics and all. ~KingisNitro (talk) 19:14, 24 August 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, we generally do that. Though, I just don't translate it straight up but rather use the string in the English song and compare it to the Swedish song and use that one. Example: the Battle Frontier song is not called
Stridslinjenin Swedish because it's not sung in the song, rather it's called Stridens gång because the line It's the Battle Frontier in the English version is Under stridens gång in the Swedish version. Looking back at the Swedish list, I can see some discrepancies here and there, but that's the generall rule of thumb. --Raltseye prata med mej 22:07, 24 August 2018 (UTC)- I think you didn't understand what I meant - like in the Czech themes, 1.4 is "Strach někdy mívám", which translates to "Sometimes I'm afraid", although the original is "We Will Be Heroes". I guess most of the names are sung in the songs anyway, but do we want the names of the songs translated as well? 3.2.8 "Přistup nebo uteč" is not sung in the song at all, for example. (Or at least not the lyrics. I might check if it's so in the song itself too). ~KingisNitro (talk) 14:13, 25 August 2018 (UTC)

- Okay, both the original version of the Pokémon Theme are on Youtube and the CD version (and for that matter the whole CD) is available here. --Raltseye prata med mej 23:52, 19 August 2018 (UTC)
(resetting indent) You missed my point. See the table below, as you can see in the English original, the line that reads We will be heroes as in the song, was translated to Strach někdy mívám, hence why we use that name. Or rather that's the reasoning I've been using. If the title is not sung at all then I think we should not translate the title. And yeah, all the CD songs do have names as seen on the back of the CD covers. --Raltseye prata med mej 17:17, 25 August 2018 (UTC)
English original | Czech translation |

- I figured that's how you get the name (altho the lyrics weren't translated until now, but they were given the name for that reason ofc) but that is not what I am asking. My question is whether we should translate the names of the songs as well, by themselves, above the table - I see the Swedish themes do not do that, but I wonder if they should. Because, as I said, some are not sung in the songs, so you'd have no idea what the name of the song means and you can't find out using the translation. ~KingisNitro (talk) 22:35, 25 August 2018 (UTC)
- Ah, you mean that we should translate the names of the songs in their headers? No, I don't think we should do that. I think it would be much work that don't really give that much back, and we already do translate them in the respective song's article. A bit redundant imo. --Raltseye prata med mej 12:29, 26 August 2018 (UTC)
- THAT is what I meant. And well, yeah, we do if the name appears in the song, but it's not always the case (Vyberu si tebe, Co jsi to za Pokémona?, Nadešel čas, Dvojnásobný potíže is sort of included, Navždy spolu... and I stopped checking there, don't have their names in the lyrics). A good example is also Under The Alolan Sun, where you just edited the name, altho it contains the whole line rather than just the name (probable, because I can't find it actually being called anything anywhere, besides "20th season opening"). But alright, if you don't wanna do it, we don't have to, I was just checking. ~KingisNitro (talk) 14:46, 26 August 2018 (UTC)

- Nice, if you feel like it, you can always check the articles to see if any one is missing. I don't think I've done that. Also, no one knows translations better then a native ;) --Raltseye prata med mej 21:20, 26 August 2018 (UTC)
- What do you mean, the English songs? I already went and checked but apparently not all of them (I think just the first CD).
- Haha the thing is I'm not actually native. I'm actually Slovak but Czechs and Slovaks go way back, and Czech movies/shows are played/hown on Slovak TV (and vice versa, although not as much). I've lived in Czech Republic for 5 years now tho so I am in contact with the language daily (although it's generally not much more different but I still learn new things every day lmao). ~KingisNitro (talk) 21:34, 26 August 2018 (UTC)
- I meant that some of the songs' articles might not have the Czech theme listed, not sure if I checked that. They should be there.
- That's a similar situation as between Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish as we all understand each other in writing, only difference is spelling and some words. In Speech however only Swedes and Norwegians understand eachother since Danish pronounciation is, degenerated so to speak :P --Raltseye prata med mej 21:42, 26 August 2018 (UTC)
- Yeah it's a lot like that, I believe. (Had a Danish friend so I know a bit.)
- Altho, a question, some songs don't have actual Czech names listed (Open My Eyes, Every Side of Me & Soul-Heart). Do we add those on the song's English page (like Open My Eyes) into "In Other Languages" (as in, Czech - Open My Eyes) with a link to the list of themes, or should we leave it empty because there's no Czech translation? Is the question clear or... ~KingisNitro (talk) 22:17, 26 August 2018 (UTC)

- I mean there is a part of a page for the lyrics of the song, so why not include it in the In Other Languages section (I'm gonna include it on all three pages). Although I wonder if "Incomplete = Czech name missing" or something should be added. I also went and checked/fixed the rest of the songs as well, as you probably noticed, so I think that should be fine (a few were slightly different from what we used in the lyric translations but it's alright, they are very close). ~KingisNitro (talk) 22:34, 26 August 2018 (UTC)
- I saw that, good work. --Raltseye prata med mej 22:46, 26 August 2018 (UTC)
- Turns out I forgot to do it yesterday, so I added the last two links now. Whoops.
- Ok I mean I guess that makes sense, although in this case, I cannot add the translation notice because it's not really a translation, but rather the name of the song as someone else translated it. Thus, I'm keeping it with just the link and original name (i.e. "Open My Eyes" in the Czech and linking to the Czech themes). ~KingisNitro (talk) 09:06, 27 August 2018 (UTC)
- Okay, I see. --Raltseye prata med mej 21:07, 27 August 2018 (UTC)

Russian
Hey, I noticed that in 2016 you added a Russian name for Incense to the Incense page. Where did that come from? To my knowledge, Incense has only appeared in the games. If it's from Pokémon GO, it should now be moved to the new Incense (GO) page. --SnorlaxMonster 10:13, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
- Yes, as it was in 2016 august, I do believe that it is taken from the now defunct Russian Pokémon GO page so yes, it should be moved there. --Raltseye prata med mej 11:54, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
Detective Pikachu in Kazakh
Hey Raltseye, I've found the trailer for Detective Pikachu in Kazakh dub. I can't really edit right now so I give it to you because you are good with these things: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=OkWhDjj4bRs
By the way, good job on the international Detective Pikachu pages! Yaronos (talk) 05:20, 1 April 2019 (UTC)
- Nice, thanks! Though, unfortunately, this is a fan-dubbed trailer :( You can see by that they use a gavrilov translation of the Russian trailer which is still present both in the audio (lowered when dubbed) and the screen, which is exactly the same. This is however well done and almost fooled me to be honest :P
- Thanks again! :D --Raltseye prata med mej 13:07, 1 April 2019 (UTC)
- Oh, my bad! By the way, I didn't mean to delete Japanese, it was a formatting mistake.Yaronos (talk) 13:31, 1 April 2019 (UTC)

New information about Detektyw Pikachu
Hey, remember the trailer in cinemas (with Waldemar Barwiński as Pikachu) that I send you earlier? This was rather a one-off thing, because Warner Bros Polska uploaded two trailers with Maciej Stuhr as Pikachu (trailer, trailer). Earlier were some news about him dubbing Pikachu, so they were true. Piotrek1113 (talk) 10:46, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
- Ah, I see, thanks for the heads up! Allow me to assume that Maciej Stuhr is voicing him in the actual movie then and that Waldemar Barwiński was just a voice they used for the trailer, is that right? --Raltseye prata med mej 13:56, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
- Exactly. Waldemar Barwiński was just placeholder for that one time. And as you can see, the today uploaded trailers have Maciej Stuhr (the actual VA) in them.Piotrek1113 (talk) 15:37, 9 May 2019 (UTC)

Detective Pikachu in Mongolian - source?
Hey Raltseye, I've seen that you've updated your Detective Pikachu page with a claim that it has a Mongolian dub. Do you have source for the Mongolian dub? Because movies aren't usually being dubbed into Mongolian. Yaronos (talk) 13:29, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
- Sure. Tengis Cinema in Mongolia stated on their ticket booking site and on their facebook page that it will be shown in theaters in the Mongolian language. --Raltseye prata med mej 13:46, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
Espeon and Umbreon
Ummm... I think the "(Gates to infinity)" part is pretty vital in the title. Otherwise, it could be mistaken to just any sort of Espeon and Umbreon. Plus, it's keeping up with the consistency of all the other PMD character articles. Could you please revert your move and link edits? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 10:36, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
- I don't think that argument holds up to be honest. Just because people don't know what series something appears in doesn't mean we should include it in the title. Especialy when it cannot be confused with anything similar. --Raltseye prata med mej 10:55, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
- Abcboy seems to agree with me and disagree with you, as he moved the page back under its original title. Time to change all those links back, I'm afraid... --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 19:33, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
- I don't agree with you guys at all. So I won't change the links back since they're redirects anyway. But if you bother with them, fine by me. --Raltseye prata med mej 21:02, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
- Direct links are always better than redirects. Please fix them, or least some of them. I think it's kinda unfair to do something like that and then not help change it back when people disagree with you like this. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 06:54, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
- While I agree that generally, yes, direct links are better than redirects, please don't suggest it in this general sense, especially not to other users. They're not always. (I don't really know this specific case, and I don't want to give a statement on it.) Nescientist (talk) 11:00, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
- Well, I don't see it being an article called Umbreon and Espeon in the near future so changing the redirects wouldn't really make any difference. Besides, the redirects work fine. If you (Suomalainen) or anyone else feels it necessary to edit those adequate redirects to direct links, feel free to do so. --Raltseye prata med mej 12:35, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
- I'm just not happy with you having changed a bunch of links into other links, and then not changing them back when the changed links became redirect links due to the article being moved back under its original title. That's being kinda inconsiderate in my eyes. It's like saying "Welp, it's your problem now. You deal with it." Also, I think you should've talked with an admin before making that move. And Nescientist, I know that I shouldn't be overly picky about redirect links, but that's mainly when we're talking about links that could spoil things, like plot twists or future events. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 13:32, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
- What I meant, Nescientist, is that you should mainly use redirect links if it's to hide a plot twist or future event, but this doesn't really feel worthy of that IMO. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 13:34, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
- Restricting redirects to "plot twists and future events" really doesn't make sense in my opinion (which should be obvious from my comments in the discussions linked above). What I came here for is for you to stop suggesting that "direct links are always better than redirects", that's all. I was not saying those Espeon and Umbreon links are preferrable as redirects; they probably aren't (but at the same time, it's not so much of a difference that I, personally, believe they're worth the edit to change). Nescientist (talk) 15:50, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
- I didn't say "only" them. I said "mostly". And my point was that I basically felt that Raltseye basically created a problem and is now refusing to help fix it just because they don't see it as a problem. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 16:32, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
