Effects
In battle
- Prevents grounded Pokémon from being afflicted by non-volatile status conditions. As of Generation VI, this also includes confusion.
- If an affected Pokémon is drowsy due to Yawn, it is prevented from falling asleep.
- Rest will fail if used by an affected Pokémon.
- It halves the power of Dragon-type moves used against affected Pokémon, regardless of whether the user of the move is affected by Misty Terrain.
- Activates the held item, Misty Seed, regardless of whether or not the holder is on the ground. This boosts the holders Special Defense by one stage, and consumes the item.
- Misty Explosion's base power increases by 1.5×, making it 150.
- Allows Steel Roller to be used, regardless of whether the user is grounded.
- Changes Terrain Pulse to an Fairy-type move.
- Changes Nature Power to Moonblast.
- Changes users of Camouflage and Mimicry to Fairy-type.
- Gives Secret Power the added effect of lowering Special Attack by one stage and gives it Fairy Wind's animation.
- Causes natural objects to disappear while in effect. They cannot be destroyed while terrain until they return.
