This template displays a menu sprite for a Pokémon, and clicking that sprite will go to the Pokémon's species page.

The menu sprite grabbed will be from Pokémon HOME, specifically a 2D black-bordered sprite, as opposed to a 3D render.

Template fields

  • field 1 (natdex number) - The Pokémon's National Pokédex number. This should be in a 4-digit format.
  • field 2 (Pokémon name) - The name of the Pokémon, to allow linking to its species page.
  • form (optional) - A short signifier for the Pokémon's form, so the correct image is displayed.
    • This is generally the first word of the form's name, with a - in front of it. For example: -Paldea for Paldean Wooper, or -Roaming for Gimmighoul Roaming Form.
    • If unsure, check this archive category for all valid file names: Category:HOME menu sprites. File names are usually in the format Menu HOME (natdex)(form).png.
