Fair-play points are a mechanic in Pokémon UNITE. Each Trainer starts with 100 fair-play points. If a Trainer has 90 or more fair-play points, they can collect a daily reward of 20 Aeos Coins, whereas lower amounts of points lead to certain penalties. This mechanic works in tandem with the report function.

Acquisition and loss

A Trainer will lose a set amount of fair-play points if registered idling during a match with human players:

Action Penalty Notes
Abandoning a Matchmade Team -1 point This penalty does not actually apply
Idling in Battle (Short-Term) -2 points 1-2 minutes of idling
Idling in Battle (Extended) -5 points 2 or more minutes of idling
Idling in Battle (Malicious) -8 points This penalty is applied if a player idles from the start of the match. The game offers the team with the idling player the chance to surrender early unpenalized.

An additional 10 points will be substracted if a player is successfully reported at the end of a match for idling, making the possible total penalty for a single match 15 fair-play points. Each point substraction and successful report comes with a Mail notification.

Fair-play points can be accrued by participating in Ranked Match and Casual Battle (but not Quick Battle), if the Trainer does not get reported for idling in a match. A maximum of 10 fair-play points can be gained per day. The fair-play point rewards are as follows:
